- Skating clips from the Walt Disney movie Ice Princess. In these clips it is Casey Carlyle played by Michelle Trachtenberg skating. I tried to only put parts from when she skates in the movie that fit the song. I got the idea to make this video while watching this movie and as I did I had the song WHAT A FEELING going through my head and I found it went well with parts of it.

Michelle Trachtenberg = more than a princess. Michelle Trachtenberg to me looks like something far more valuable than a princess. Her face seems to me like it's been sent directly from heaven and has been resonating from heaven. She has extremely angelic features, looking like nothing short of an angel. To me, she's an angel on earth. She's more precious and needs to be treasured more than even gold or diamond.

This movie is what inspired me to start figure skating as I was a kid, I loved it so much. I had to stop a couple of months ago...now I miss it so much, feel like crying just watching this. Don't ever stop believing in your dreams people!

There is NO way somebody could learn this in a month. It takes YEARS of training and hard work to get to this level.

That song is from Flashdance (1983) and it's from Paramount Pictures. In Disney's Ice Princess (2005), Casey skates to the tune of Flashdance...What a Feeling by the late Irene Cara and in Flashdance (1983), Jeanie skates to the tune of "Gloria" by the late Laura Branigan.

I used to practice figure skating. For me it was the most beautiful thing to do, but a few days after our chistmas festival I fell down and broke my coccix, but i didn't have no idea. It was in a public session and there were so many people and skaters around that I didn't wanna cry in there and I could actually pretend it didn't hurt even though It hurted so much...but didn't want to tell my parents so I continued skating. Three months after I fell down again, this time worse than the 1st, and that is when I started feeling frightened everytime I looked to the ice. Anaways, it is two years later and I cannot do any sports until I am 18 years and that if I can actually do it. If not, I would have to get a cirgury :(. However, I still believe it is the most beautiful sport in the world and is one of the greatest things I could ever have done in my life. That feeling of flying when jumping or spinning is something I would never forget or regret.
She was 20 years old then. And beautiful.

This is a very well done video!! I've always loved this movie. My husband thought I was nuts when I snagged it and added it to our repertoire, but then he sat and watched it.
