These three videos talk about Yoongi's life. The first one talks about the duality of Min Yoongi who was looked down upon by other Korean rappers and BTS's Suga who is famous. The second one talks specifically about the same two sides of Yoongi but not as opposites but as complementary. And there is Amydala which is basically a biography of him literally telling facts of his life. At the end of the video there is a door that he can't get out of. Then, at the last show of his tour, at the end of the last song, a door appears at the back of the stage. He opens it, turns and waves, smiling, and walks out the the stage. ART.
The first two videos he kills himself or the parts of himself and society he doesn't want to see. The third video is his younger self trying to save him from going through everything he went through, his accident that caused him so much pain and eventually led to surgery. His mom's heart surgery, his dad's illness, his battle with depression. He is unable to do so, none of us can. At his final D Day concert he went through that door, signifying leaving all that pain behind. Suga is a warrior. All the guys have faced tremendous battles, death threats, serious issues and hate. This is why ARMY is so protective of BTS. We have gone through the battles with them, supported them through the battles, learned of the battles after finding BTS and not understood why people hate them so much. Amygdala is an almond sized part of the brain housing your personal trauma. Sometimes he's taking pills, but sometimes he's eating almonds in that video.
Amygdala is the part of the brain that processes emotional responses like fear , anxiety, it processes memory, etc. Trauma and our emotions associated with trauma are also processed andv stored in the amygdala. This is Yoongi's raw honest lyrics about his youth. His experience with trauma, social anxiety, depression, his Mom's heart problems that started when Yoongi was stiil in the womb and learning of his Dad's cancer diagnosis. 💜 Yes those would be prescribed medications for depression.
Haegeum is a two- stringed Korean instrument. It also means something that is forbidden. In this song it refers to lifting a ban or freedom. Yoongi speaks of freeing oneself, but he also warns us to be aware of the difference between self 'indulgence" versus freedom, and that freedom of expression can cause someone's death. Yoongi still encourages us to think wisely, but still we should free ourselves from slave mentality, following the latest trends etc. And this is why Suga/Agust D/Min Yoongi is my bias. His genius raw, honest lyrics wreck my soul.💜 Mad respect🙏 to you Victor for always caring about the lyrics. Too many reactors/content creators never bother to read the lyrics. Thank you💜
The songs DAECHWITA, HAEGEUM AND AMYGDALA (and their respective MVs) make up the trilogy that represents Suga's alter ego. They are part of the same universe and tell of the struggles between their inner demons and other personas. They are simply incredible, revealing, deeply symbolic and meaningful. HAEGEUM is the second in the trilogy and this word has two meanings: 1 - it is a traditional Korean instrument that was also used in music; and, 2 - unblock, release or suspend a prohibition or restriction. The song and MV are conveying a message about how idols shouldn't be tied down by people's social expectations and should be free to do whatever they want. An example of this is that in the MV's plot there is a scene where he was smoking. AMYGDALA - This is more of an autobiographical song, a story of Suga's life, especially during his years of struggle. Everything in this song really happened, even his mother's heart surgery (making him question whether it was right for him to be born) and his father's liver cancer. But now his parents are fine. Suga was in a car accident while making deliveries on his scooter during his trainee days before BTS's debut, where his shoulder was torn. He said he remembers seeing the tire next to his head. He never told Big Hit about the accident, fearing he would be cut from BTS and their debut. He worked for years with extreme pain in his shoulder, until 2020, when he had shoulder surgery. In some live performances, you may see him not moving his left side, lifting his arm, or rubbing his left shoulder area. The pills you see him taking in the MV are probably painkillers, but he used to take cortisone shots before performances so he could dance. The pain he endured is heartbreaking! And that's why he's not in the military, but rather doing military service through the social service department. Amygdala (ah-mig-dah-lah) is the part of your brain that stores your traumatic memories. He's the size and shape of an almond, so you see him eating almonds in the MV. He needs his amygdala to save him from all his painful memories, asking his own brain to help him process everything he's been through, but also begging him to forget some of the things that still torment him. Oh, during the last show of his D-Day tour in Seoul, he managed to get through the door. This trauma will always be a part of him, but now he has overcome it and can move on because our AGUST D, (SUGA, MIN YOONGI) is healthy now! He knows he is not alone in this world living with depression, social anxiety and OCD. And when he openly exposes his emotional and mental baggage for the world to see, he shows us that we're all in this together. His words and lyrics offer understanding and acceptance to those who feel marginalized and stigmatized by the true anguish they feel. Suga is basically saying that it's okay to not be okay, but that we should seek help and have the chance to be our best selves. To do this, we must love each other! Borahae. 💜🇧🇷
*you're wrong about a few things and I believe it's our job not to spread misinformation- he told bighit about his accident during predebut and they told him he should have let them know sooner and they paid for his medical and school expenses (he was worried about his education and him/his fam being able to afford it) even tho the label barely had any money at that time.

As shown in the Amygdala MV, Yoongi was in an accident years ago. When they were trainees they weren’t allowed to have outside jobs, but he was so poor at the time he drove his scooter doing food deliveries. One day, he was in an accident with a car and damaged his shoulder. The car almost ran right over him. He didn’t tell the company because he was worried they would cancel him being a trainee, so he hid it for a while. Even after the company knew, and he’d debuted with BTS, he was dancing and performing with his shoulder getting progressively worse over the years. He’d have to strap/tape his shoulder and have injections into it everyday when touring. It finally got to the point he had surgery and wasn’t able to perform with BTS for a while. Although his shoulder is better than it was, it still isn’t perfect, which is why he was given alternative military service (civil service) instead of the regular armed forces. He had years of chronic pain, you can see in some live performances, TV stages etc that he’s in pain. When all 7 members got a 7 tattoo, he got his on the part of his shoulder where the surgery was. . I’ve lived with constant pain since 2006 when I was in a car accident and know how draining it can be. I had spinal surgery 2 months ago, which probably wont ever fix the pain I have, but should help stop or slow my spine from further degrading over time. I now have a bit of bone from a cadaver grafted on my spine and some screws in there 😂 . Suga is my bias, not only because I can understand some of his pain and struggles. Happy New Year to you and your lovely wife and to the Fam you’re building here. 💜
Umm some of what you said is false. They weren't prohibited from having part time jobs and Yoongi had quite a few before he debuted- was a delivery driver, a piano teacher/giving lessons, working in a convenience store, giving MIDI lessons. He hid the reason for his injury from the label at first but he told them soon enough because he was struggling and they told him he should have told them sooner, said that they'll wait for him and also cover his medical expenses and his tuition for school (he was worried about his education and him/his family not being able to afford it).
@@g100-w6j Thanks! 😀 I know Yoongi had jobs before becoming a trainee. As you said, he taught and also sold beats for other rappers and learned MIDI while working (for free?) at a studio. He got ripped off and not paid for some of the songs he sold. But I thought that as trainees they weren’t meant to be working because they were meant to be focusing solely on their training. I’d read that’s why he initially didn’t tell them how he was injured because he wasn’t meant to be doing a small job on the side. He’s said he initially told the company and members that he injured his shoulder falling down some stairs. I’ve read about the company’s response when he did tell them; it was great of them to do that 🤩 Anyway, happy to be corrected for anything I’ve got wrong. Always up for more info about our boys, especially Yoongi. After all, he’s my husband 😂😂😂😂
Little Easter Egg in the video. When he is in the town and is bumped into by a guy who then starts throwing punches at the guy with him, the two guys are Jin and Jungkook whom Yoongi convinced to cameo in the MV.💜💜💜 Also, Yoongi learned that sword dance in just 2 days.

You could make you post commentary longer, by pulling up 'DOOLSET' after which gives the most accurate Korean to English translation of BTS'S song lyrics. It gives all the word-play, double entendre, and cultural references and including it in your post commentary. If you are impressed with their lyrics now you will be blown away with DOOLSET'S translations. ARMY loves when reactors take the time to go to DOOLSET and get an indepth understanding. That is what ARMY wants more than anything, people to really appreciate the art and talent of BTS. We would definitely hang out longer to see that.💜

Hi, Happy New Year. - In reply to your question regarding video posting. Just a thought, most of us have seen the MV, but not your reaction and thougts, what if you played the video on your side only, so you see it but not us, but we can hear it and see your reaction and you can still pause and provide your thoughts. If people really need to see the MV too, then they can open another window, and push play when you do. Again, just a thought. PS - Hope you chopped enough wood. Have a great day and stay warm. 💜
My suggestion no filter, no low music..I'd rather you put a membership fee on You Tube. I understand your constraints. No just review. I enjoy the song. But want you to get paid. Time is money!! Enjoy your channel 💜
@brendashelton6146 thanks ! I'll be sure to add few more accessible tiers as well on Patreon , also there's a membership option available right now on the channel ! Thanks so much for watching with us ! I enjoy every second making these videos 😁
For your feedback, I would watch the full unfiltered video as you have it here (which can not be monetized) and then go watch your “review” video in which you do not play the video but go in depth on your thoughts of the video and looking at the lyrics. You could monetize the second video. If you had a filter on the MV video, I would probably watch it as long as your commentary is engaging, but I am less likely to seek it out.
So many people are getting a Patrron account. I think that army will watch both. If you are actually enjoying the music and being the person who says " Ok, Now I have watched this one I will mark this off and go to next song" with no intention of ever listening to it again. Because army wants you to be happy with the music. And music is meant to be listened to more then once. I do not watch Patreon because of the charge. It is good for things that YT won't allow I don't suggest that you split it up or do low sound There is so much content. This is what I suggest. I do not understand what you are willing to watch ( and that is the keyword that is important to ami and you) I also don't know what you will get paid for......you also want what ami will watch There is soo much that is left out that ami wants to see ( by most reactors) Every song is a story and Bangtantv has is all covered. Also there are interpatation vids that are ignored. Bookish theories is a good site. And others. Like when you listen to "Ugh" You can have ppl watch the explanation vid from Asian Theories ( or whatever their new name is)..... on Patreon. On Patreon you can watch sooo much content. They have the making of the MV.....dance practice....behind the scenes. etc. Maybe start from their beginnings. in 2013 ....with their own vareity show that they had ....because they wouldn't let them on TV.(that is on Viki and that is a platform like Netflix) They also have a yearly dinner. Or a live for their new album ( or any live) Also Run BTS series. I am sure there is stuff I am missing. good luck. p.s. I forgot the concerts !!!!! I just watched the Vlive from the famous Wembley concert. ( yes, they recorded it ) Their is also the concert in Saudi Arabia
Victor, I’ll be honest. I looked at your Patreon page and $5/ month is too high for me. I do subscribe to several Patreon accounts so if they were all $5, I’d be broke. I have to keep it under $2/month. If you have several tiers, people who can afford more can pay more. The Patreon of Enjoy BTS More lets you pay what you can afford. She has LOADS of BTS content, all with subtitles, so I pay her more for her effort. If things get blocked on UA-cam, some reactors put it on Patreon for free, which is very generous and builds loyalty. I understand your dilemma though. And personally, I wont want channels that use filters unnecessarily or alter the sound. Sometimes you have to do it so it doesn’t get blocked. That is understandable. But good luck with your efforts! I like your reactions.
@MarilynPF ohh I didn't even know you have the option to pay what you can afford , that's very nice and I'll be sure to implement that into the patreon account ! Thanks for that ! Maybe I should consider making a second tier at a lower price 🤔 even though I've implemented more perks than 90:% of ytbers I see the dilemma , it's not very accessible..I appreciate your feedback and honest opinion it means alot when you guys are open with me ! I'll add a tier with 2 euros ..another thing to keep in mind is that all the reactions will be available after a while anyway! My mindset when making that 5euro a month tier was that I'll be posting only 1h+ reactions there but I changed my mind ! I guess it's a learning process for me and I'm counting on you guys to have an opinion everytime as that's the kind of relationship I wanna have going forward! Thanks again
Or you can watch the video in full . An make your video of your opinion and show the parts you are commenting on, instead of the hole video.... Then you will not get a strike 😊 Think most of us have watched the videos....not that we will not watch them again 😉🎵❣️🎤🫡 An like to see and share the🫰✨️😎🍻

I think you have to have the BigHit thing at the beginning of these videos, I've seen people get dinged for not doing that
Ahhhh
Yep, I have seen the same.
Silver spoon is very good. You have to see it
Thanks for the tip!
My suggestion no filter, no low music..I'd rather you put a membership fee on You Tube. I understand your constraints. No just review. I enjoy the song. But want you to get paid. Time is money!! Enjoy your channel 💜
I agree too 😊
@brendashelton6146 thanks !
Thanks for sharing that I appreciate it ! 😁

You need to check the lyrics of go go, and need to react yo apanman of bts 💜
So many people are getting a Patrron account.
I think that army will watch both. If you are actually enjoying the music and being the person who says " Ok, Now I have watched this one I will mark this off and go to next song" with no intention of ever listening to it again. Because army wants you to be happy with the music. And music is meant to be listened to more then once.
I do not watch Patreon because of the charge.
It is good for things that YT won't allow
I don't suggest that you split it up or do low sound
There is so much content.
This is what I suggest.
I do not understand what you are willing to watch ( and that is the keyword that is important to ami and you)
I also don't know what you will get paid for......you also want what ami will watch
There is soo much that is left out that ami wants to see ( by most reactors)
Every song is a story and Bangtantv has is all covered.
They have the making of the MV.....dance practice....behind the scenes. etc.
Maybe start from their beginnings. in 2013 ....with their own vareity show that they had ....because they wouldn't let them on TV.(that is on Viki and that is a platform like Netflix)
They also have a yearly dinner. Or a live for their new album ( or any live) Also Run BTS series.
I am sure there is stuff I am missing.
good luck.
p.s. I forgot the concerts !!!!!
I just watched the Vlive from the famous Wembley concert. ( yes, they recorded it )
Their is also the concert in Saudi Arabia
