I watched that video! It was so heartwarming... To see how nervous Ronnie was presenting this piece to one of his idols, the thoughtfulness he put into the song to try to do it justice. Papa Roach's response was so touching! I encourage everyone to look it up and check it out! 🎶❤️🎶
Ronnie has the only voice in all genres I listen to that I can hear a song 100 times, and still feel my heart rising into my throat/ tears filling in my eyes. His voice literally feels like different emotions cutting into me
Love Ronnie, there is a live performance of Watch the World Burn online and it shows what an amazing performer he is but also the size of his recents concerts. They did sell out Red Rock if that gives you an idea
I heard someone say the original was for angsty teenagers and this version is for broken adults. It's soo good, gives me chills everytime I listen to it 🥰
The original is angst. This one is pure melancoly. And they're both awesome. But this version has a more matture depth, that if you've grown with the original, and you were a teen when you heard it, you related to it, and now as an adult, with more understanding of your emotions, you relate more to this one. At least is how it made me feel. Loved your reaction!
You really need to check out their LIVE performance of “Watch the World Burn.” Filmed in Sacramento CA on THEIR headlining tour, the MonsTour… They teamed up with CaliperTV to bring a crisp, clear, live sound with multi camera angles. You can really hear not just Ronnie, but his bassist, Tyler Burgess, on the backup/co-singer. They also have a surprise at the end, and I think that’s where the magic happens.. They perform the ending 3 times, 3 different vocals. As someone who saw them live this year, and this song, it’s definitely a MUST watch!!! You will DEFINITELY love it!!!
He’s 39 (1/2), and this year was his FIRST Headlining Tour at bigger venues around 10-15K cap, and was selling out. I saw them on the Rockzilla tour with Papa Roach 6 days after “Watch the World Burn dropped”. It was Rupp Arena in Lexington KY. Max cap is 23K cap, but they didn’t have all the seats opened. They sold out the GA floor and the entire 2nd level so around 12K. We had the entire row. Behind us get up and leave after their performance. We stayed for 3/4 of Papa Roach’s set (which was very good). Every time we went to go get Falling in Reverse merch, they’d be sold out and making runs to the truck. I finally got my merch.
I never would've checked out this band otherwise. I've seen your other videos on them, and you made me notice how emotional of musicians they are. This gave me chills.
I've listened to both the papa roach version and this one, both are amazing. The biggest difference between the two is that in this version you can actually feel the emotions in the lyrics. In the OG version, the lyrics are impactful but was done in a more pump-up anthem like style. In this version, the emotions in the lyrics are escalated throughout this video in a more operatic style and damn that fit perfectly in my opinion.
He just finished his popular monstour… each show was around 10k with a couple 20k & every show sold out. Even sold out Red Rocks Ampitheatre. It’s took over a decade but people are finally starting to realize who the band is & the last 2/3 years they have just shot straight up!
It's not so much that people are finally starting to realise who they are are, it's more about how much they have developed and created their own sound which is absolutely mind blowing. I wasn't a fan of their early emo stuff at all and still dislike most of it but everything since the Trilogy has been absolute gold
They are well known and popular. They have recently had a tour and as I've seen he has sold out arenas, 10.000 tickets multiple shows. He also sold out red rocks:) The song watch the world burn landed on billboard hot 100 chart. They also has alot of fanse in Europe and uk. I'm living in Norway:)
You asked: "How well known is Falling In Reverse?" The answer: They will never be well enough known. It is just the simple truth. Every human should hear their songs at least once, and that won't happen. Throughout time, there have been a few bands that reach this level, and it is a shame that folks live, and never hear a single song from these bands that reach a cosmic level of musicality. Thankfully, human beings are really pushing the edge with music, and these sorts of songs, and bands are occurring more and more often.
I saw Ronnie/Falling in Reverse last week in Alpharetta, Ga. They are currently touring with Avenged Sevenfold who is headlining. I didn't even stay for Avenged, I went for FIR. Lol I think they'll be done with this tour by the middle of October though...
They are known in the Rock genre…but I bet a lot of ppl were like me…I knew the band name but never checked them out. Thought they were just an emo band from like 10-15 years ago. My journey started last year with Voices in My Head and Zombified. SOOO impressed with how good each song was and how each one is different (over the years). His vocal technique and delivery has improved with age. His live performances are BETTER than the prerecorded stuff!!’ He’s had controversy in his past. While he was innocent, ppl just hated on him. He served time in prison for violating his parole for a homicide he did not commit. He had a “Grape” allegation, but was cleared (that’s a story time- woman was intoxicated, he turned her down, then she Amber Heard’d him. That one was messy/complicated). He has sued for defamation and WON. I couldn’t imagine being called a murderer and a sexual predator every day online. Ppl get upset when he responds to ignorant and inflammatory comments made about him. The last one I paid attention to was SOOO bad, that I hope he takes legal action. He cheated on his now ex-finance (his daughters mom) while she was pregnant. He owns that and admits his faults and mistakes. He was abandoned by his mom as a baby due to drugs. She’s an addict. Took him til adulthood to talk to her. He has a brother who was killed in a vehicle accident in that almost “broke” him. He was an addict, but lost his 1st band (Escape the Fate) and went to prison. He’s clean and sober now. His daughter has played a huge role in that. He’s also been dating Saraya (WWE’s Paige) since 2018 who’s been his rock). Sorry! Lol! But, in MY opinion… They should be bigger than what they are in my opinion. Maybe their popularity will continue to climb. They are 1 of 3 headlining acts to perform on a Saturday (4 day festival Thursday-Sunday) at the “Louder Than Life” music festival in Louisville Kentucky….which is now the largest ROCK festival in the US..170,000 ppl just for LTL (it’s a trifecta event encompassing 3 weekends). YEAH!
Best reaction yet to this song. I like the way you described tones and keys in this one. Funfact: The original guitar riff was written on a keyboard/piano. On the 2 latest tours I believe its been an average of about 6-7000. Ronnie is very controversial due to the fact he doesnt care about public opinion. He is the love or hate kind of man one can say. Pre Covid I believe they mostly played things like Vans Warp tour so numbers are impossible to guess.
Doctor My Eyes from Jackosn Browne. is the song you were playing. The first I ever heard of FIR was Voices in my Head and I was blown away! Ronnies voice is so good and unique. He certainly can't be pigeonholed into one genre. He's strong in every one. I especially love his reimagined series. Shows such maturity from the original lives of his songs. Just exhibiting his journey and how he's changed. This is the first reaction of yours I've seen and will be subbing for more. I really enjoyed your take on it. Thanks!! Edited to add: He recently did a concert in Sacramento, Ca. for his "Popular Monstour". Did a version of one of his newer songs Watch The World Burn. Here's the link. ua-cam.com/video/g10qKRsi28U/v-deo.htmlsi=2Mn6JUoMOyn6Z0Hs
They sold out Red Rock and he just posted on Instagram that they've already sold 10,000 tickets to Syracuse. I have tickets for September 22nd for The Avenged Sevenfold tour with Falling in Reverse and Kim Dracula. I got tickets specifically to see Falling in Reverse. I can't wait!
Enjoyed your reaction! I feel the same about Ronnie’s talent and vocal abilities! In my opinion Falling in Reverse is a supergroup, all the musicians are top tier!!
Stepping up the even numbered pitches on any instrument is difficult as well. I played French horn growing up and those notes were always the hardest to hear and match before you got to them. I didn’t screw them up but you can’t visualize the sound as well, if that makes sense, because it’s an unnatural progression. You are right about Ronnie’s voice as well. It’s almost like you’re diving into his brain every time you hear his music, and in doing so, doors to your subconscious open and the feelings come flooding out. I’ve never felt more sad and relieved at the same time as I am hearing his music.
Falling in Reverse doesn't headline arenas, but they sell out 2-4k venues like large amphitheaters and such. They are playing an arena tour coming up, but it's in support of Avenged Sevenfold, they're not headlining.
i saw him in Richmond, VA a few months back and it was sold out around 2k people; all be it we dont have many large scale venues with DC, VA beach and NC being 2 hours away in multiple directions for the large scale concerts. FIR does tour with other large (more "mainstream") bands too
what's crazy is this took him half an hour in the studio he said. he isn't the most loved person in the music industry because he isn't scared to say anything on any platform or go off at anyone it doesn't matter if your famous or just a no body he will reply to you and absolutely roast you if you say something dumb and also because of his past with going to jail for like 3-5 years for battery with substantial bodily harm when him and a few guys went to someone's house and the guy got shot and killed.
What I think you are trying to say is it is giving the SONG the depth and emotional essence it was meant to have. The original was to upbeat and hard to allow the words to be felt or understood. Also far as Ronnie as a singer or furthermore his band as a whole, he has the ability and the depth to convey true emotion and feeling. you can not do this without being a genuine good and deeply spiritual person and willing to open yourself up to share the emotions. Ronnie is a real genuine good soul, he is far from perfect but he is a good soul.
The Papa Roach version was for rebellious teenagers growing up and now with Ronnie made this for those that are now adults who are feeling broken down and on the edge
Having just done some back catelogue watching: "We're going to do more of these guys, I just know it" - David about Nightwish. That was TWO YEARS ago! You absolutely need to check out "Nightwish - The Greatest Show on Earth (live at Tampere)" It *will* blow your mind.
They are becoming one of the biggest bands out there right now. Need to check out- Falling in reverse-Watch the world burn- live Sacramento CA. Better than the video. They have pretty much sold out every show and are now headlining.
we need to have you review some JONNY CRAIG, he was the previous singer of Dance Gavin Dance. Id recommend "I'd Rather See Your Star Explode" from when he was in Slaves. He has one of the best voices in the genre!
Didn’t read all the comments nor have I checked out all of your reactions but since you like this you need to check out their original songs The Drug in me is you and I’m not a vampire then check out the reimagined versions of both.
Hi. Long time viewer, first time commenter. This is the second video now that seems to have problems with the video. Did you change your lights (frequency difference?) or camera or video processing workflow? The framerate of the video seems choppy to me, making it uncomfortable to watch. Is it just me?
Not criticism, rather an observation... The tell on your high emotional sensitivity isn't the obvious verbal emoting or physical swaying... but how you stop the video right before the peaks in the intended emotional tension.. It's all a bit too much to endure, eh? I can relate.

Radke is an abuser and all round awful person. He was complicit to a murder as well as being abusive to partners and fans. We should stop giving him any attention
If you are going to comment things like this, at least have your facts straight! He hasn't murdered or abused anybody. He when to jail because he had brass knuckles and violated his probation terms. So stop Spred false information
@ifyousayso_ ignoring the convictions he's also just an immature and spiteful person on line who bullies others. Not holding anything against people who enjoy the music it's just disappointing when people act like he isn't an awful person
There’s a video of him playing the unmixed version to lead singer of Papa Roach. He was nervous as hell. Played the whole song for him.
I watched that video! It was so heartwarming... To see how nervous Ronnie was presenting this piece to one of his idols, the thoughtfulness he put into the song to try to do it justice. Papa Roach's response was so touching! I encourage everyone to look it up and check it out! 🎶❤️🎶

Yes, FIR is selling out pretty much all their shows. They are currently on tour and co-headlining with Papa Roach, I believe.

That tune you opened with is “Doctor My Eyes” by Jackson Browne!
Hoo boy I'm early!

Ronnie is the GOAT. FIR is pretty huge in the rock scene, though Ronnie can be pretty polarizing as an individual.
When Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles win awards for “I can Buy myself flowers” while there is shit out there like what Ronnie produces tells me all that I need to know about Hollywood.
When people celebrate and play “Wet A$$ Push’s” on the radio but won’t play something that Ronnie produces because it has some screams or topics on mental health tells me all I need to know.

@ifyousayso_ he was convicted for battery in the murder of Michael Cook. He didn't kill him but he was involved in the fight that did
@ifyousayso_ ignoring the convictions he's also just an immature and spiteful person on line who bullies others. Not holding anything against people who enjoy the music it's just disappointing when people act like he isn't an awful person
I just hate his stupid blacked out tattoos. Accept your past instead hiding your tattoos. Looks like he trying to be black face but forgot the face!
Meh. It’s a fine cover and not one I find myself actively thinking about or listening to again.
Sounds so incredibly edited. I had to stop listening halfway through. I can’t do any better though
That was one of the worst things I have ever heard in my life
Which part?
And, can why use the word “worst”? Why not say something like, “that repelled me instead of attracted me” or something along those lines?
@@MusicShed because they’re entitled to their own opinion, and can use whatever speeds they feel are necessary to get that opinion across?
