I ❤this …. feel like this was meant for me. I have all 3 of those hardware pieces. I had no idea you had this stuff Doug..looking forward to more of this series.
Cheers Chris, I haven't had the KO ii for very long, a couple of weeks but I like it a lot, I also like the limited sample memory because you have to be very choosy as to what samples you use, and that's a good thing. And it sounds great.
Do I have to be in 12t mode on the KO2 to get access to all the keys on the keyboard? Alternatively, if I change the Key and Scale on the KO2, will it snap all the notes input on the keyboard to that key and scale, or does the midi controller override that?
Absolutely love my EP-133 KO II, Great stuff Doug.
Very cool setup and great demo songs! Man, the KO-II is such a nice thing, look forward to see some more of it
Epic video today, Doug. If that's not enough there's the EP-1320 Medieval Sampler to further this setup. Brilliant stuff.
Love that medieval sample. Looks like a whole lot of fun….

Man I set the s-1 to receive midi, but hitting play on the KO2 does not start the selected sequence on the Roland.
Hi Doug, great video, thanks! Is it possible to map the faders and knobs on the minilab to control functions on the ko ii?
Not that I know of.
@@TheSoundTestRoom thank you!
Idk Doug your gear setup starting to look a little hardware ish like mine 😆
In 2024 we've gotten so advanced we've deconstructed what a Roland SC-55 from 1991 sounds like.
Who like me would rather have a product that was slightly bigger but had full sized 5 pin din midi.
