Superb review bhai ❤ ....... i dont know why people keep comparing with others. You loke it you take or simply leave it. There will always be someone finding faults in some machine or the other 😊
It's my thoughts, I think Royal Enfield really cost cutting too much Like rear suspension, cooling system, or why they don't give tube less Spock willes this thing are very important component on bike in my perception. What you guys think?
Bro you are 5'7"? 😮 I thought you are are 6 foot, by the way you look in the images and they way you ride the big bikes. I'm 5'7" aswell, you truly motivate me 🙌🏽🔥
But what I believe is the suspension could have been a little better for it to be crowned as a true scrambler. I sincerely doubt it's off road prowess , as far as a new rider is concerned this bike is not going to encourage them to push this machine to it's limits. Plus the bulk of the weight will be pretty difficult to manage. How do you find it to be a match with the OG Triumph one?
Wonderful review brother... I loved it❤ Crisp and detail content in review, I agree with your openin of 150wide tire🎉🤗. I want to buy but eagerly waiting for tube less rim for bear 650 Similar to himalayan 450.
Dada review to always jabardast h ❤❤but ye bike looks me achha h but practicality se measure kiya jaye toh mujhe pata neh q ye bike utna v sahi neh laga. Handle bar jis tarha k ye scrambler k category me neh ata I guess
Was planning to get scrambler 400x, what would you suggest ? My main requirement is road only not offroad, i am a tall guy so speed and guerilla felt a little small...I just want a smooth comfortable ride, what should I get ? Bear 650 or scrambler 400x
Feels almost same, I feel it's on the bulky size side so while riding you don't feel that sharp handling. If you observe I am unable to corner at high speed as usually I do with other bikes.
@@BikerNiladri Update: I took test drive of both bear & shotgun. Bear 650 is too stiff for city roads with potholes. Shotgun was way better, but I do feel the bumps as form of bounce due to floating seat. I took deliver of shotgun 650 finally.
Selling a heavy bike with tube tires in 2024 is outright impractical. Royal Enfield seems to be focusing more on churning out bikes than addressing real-world usability. The question is, why even bother with the Bear 650? A scrambler should be versatile and lightweight, not a cumbersome machine. A 450cc bike would have been a far more sensible and customer-friendly choice. The Classic 650 and Bear 650 feel like illogical additions-more niche than practical. It’s high time Royal Enfield sharpened its focus, streamlined its lineup, and prioritized functionality over sheer variety.
If It was so illogical why so many people are wanting to buy and complimenting it over and over? I really don't understand all this hate over Royal Enfield or any other brand. If you don't like, just don't buy it. If they made it, it's because it make sense for their marketing strategy. There plenty of studied person behind those product strategy
@edfell66 There’s no hate towards Royal Enfield here-it’s a global brand now and proudly represents India. With that comes a significant responsibility. If they start falling short, people will be quick to blame it on being "just another Indian product" that doesn’t meet global standards. I’m not criticizing the Classic 350-it has its loyal fan base. Even the Meteor 350 is a solid bike, and I acknowledge that. However, let’s talk about the Gorilla 450. It’s a roadster with a good design, but it lacks crucial safety features like traction control. Similarly, the Himalayan 450 launched a year ago, and only now are they offering tubeless tires. The same issue exists with the bear 650. Imagine getting a puncture on the highway-it’s a nightmare scenario. Now, consider the upcoming Classic 650. Do you think a heavy bike like that, without tubeless tires, has any real practicality? Royal Enfield needs a solid 450cc Scram version, but there’s nothing on the horizon yet. Look at Triumph’s Speed Scrambler-it’s a perfect example of what a bike in this segment should offer. In contrast, Royal Enfield’s Interceptor has poor suspension, and the Himalayan still suffers from a reputation for chassis issues. They haven’t yet figured out how to build a truly vibration-free engine. So, if you think Royal Enfield is facing unnecessary criticism, I’d argue it’s not unwarranted. These are areas where they genuinely need to improve.
You are right. They do have some very good products, I own 2 RE's. Their endeavours in the last 3-4 years are all financially inclined, where every bike has some short comings that could be done away with. After Sales Service definitely needs mors attention !
@ashinterceptor Although it’s not the Sherpa engine or the Himalayan 450, Royal Enfield seems to have increased the bore of the 411cc engine, creating a 443cc variant. This updated engine is expected to produce around 25 horsepower and 35 Nm of torque. If the pricing is set competitively, around ₹2.70-2.80 lakh on-road, it could be a fantastic bike. The improved performance and affordable price point would make it an appealing choice for both long-distance riders and adventure enthusiasts."
@@BikerNiladri well apparently they've moved the cats from the twin mufflers, which don't exist any more to under the frame low down in exactly the spot where the main stand would go. That's what I heard. We want to know if you change the muffler & remove the cat,can you still mount a main stand? Essentially the frame is the same as a Interceptor.
Yes it will be heavy and difficult to manage if you are below 5'10 , i am 5'6 and found it heavy to manage in normal usage, go for goldstar instead, overall better weight mnagement it has instead, and riding stances, also int bear650 has forward lean position, it will be fatigue prone in long run
Niladri, thanks again for the POV video, enjoyed thoroughly seeing you glide through the mountain roads. I've a straight question - for 43, 5 6" guy riding an Activa currently, do you feel he can manage this bike in day to day life? I was expecting sub 200 KG kerb weight for this bike. But RE disappointed on that. :(
Not recommended for daily rides, it's a scrambler bike and if you're from Siliguri then the city doesn't even have that good roads, the city is so bogus, you won't enjoy the ride. If you're from big cities where there are wide roads you will enjoy but with heating issues and low mileage
