This is fantastic, the cherry on top should be an alternate ending for act 2 where grimora shows up instead of p0-3 after kaycee dug up old data from the well. She uses it to allow herself and this copy on inscryption to finally be laid to rest.i hope Daniel Mullins sees this and makes this dlc since this is as polished as act 1 is. The only other thing is I would love to see puzzles to be solved in her crypt similar to acts 1 and 3
It would be more amazing if the energy charges looked more like vials and magic stones(Magnificus) are more like amulets/talismans being held place by a skull (sockets and mouth). Just like P03 personalizes what he stole, Grimora would too. GREAT MOD THOUGH! Looking forward to future updates
This mod is amazing! What you've been able to do so far is truly outstanding! One thing I'd love to see from this mod is more ways that the bones and energy systems play off each other. Right now it kind of feels like they're still two separate systems that just happen to be working at the same time. I know in act one, blood and bones had a very cool synergy with sacrificing, and that can be hard to replicate since energy is so different from the other systems. Maybe there could be something related to how frankenstein's monster was reanimated with electricity. What if for certain cards you could spend energy to give them a temporary unkillable sigil so they return to your hand and still generate bones? Or what if for the electric chair event, instead of it being a push your luck mechanic, you could give the card another sigil, but doing so raises its energy cost? Stuff like that would elevate gameplay to a whole other level.
Finally beat this after a few days of banging my head against it. It's gorgeous, but really needs some rebalancing in favor of the player. Too many times I found myself in a situation where I didn't feel like I misplayed but RNG decided I couldn't win, which was really demoralizing. And when I did win, it felt like I just got lucky instead of it being because I played well. I wouldn't have won if my hydra didn't get its cost reduced, or if I hadn't drawn that exploding pirate at a pivotal moment, or if my bone hound didn't have flight, all things that were largely out of my control. The player needs more ways to influence their deck.

What if for every death You get put in a Coffin you get to name. Then you can grave rob your own coffin to get bones. Every few fights you can do this so the more you die the more Coffins you have to Rob
I think a variation on the death mechanic would be cool. Maybe if you made it back to the tile where you died in a previous run, there could be a gravestone for your last life where you could get a free powerful card from your previous deck. That would certainly make it more fun to replay the rounds. It could even incentivize losing on purpose to buff the next run.
i just thought of a mechanic that might be interesting: what if you find a unmarked grave and grimora lets you create it’s epitaph, granting you a card after you’re done
Its intriguing to say the least, unfortunately it uses text that doesnt need to be used, like the text she says at the beginning. Nothing is really getting deleted, and the still peices, when she moves them too, like a chess game.
this mod is a bit to unbalanced in my opinion you guys should definitely tone it down by either buffing the events or nerfing the bosses and encounters because it’s basically unwindable I don’t mind it being difficult but the players cards just feel severely under powered compared to everything else but great stuff good job on creating this mod honestly it looks amazing
1) skill issue 2) yeah sure it's hard compared to act 1, acts 2-3 are hard compared to act 1! it wouldn't make sense for an extended finale to the game to jump back to the first third of the game in difficulty.
@@matthewcaffee2125 Act 2-3 are easy as hell, Act 2 starves you in terms of choices you can make for your deck at the start but after yiu get some packs and an Ouroboros it's easy.

I feel that at the beginning, Grimora should welcome the player like she does in act 2. Here it seems like the dialouge is from act 4
this takes place DURING act 4. it's just extended. grim is still trying to die it just takes a while.
