Tchaikovsky Variations on a Rococo Theme - Nathan Chan, cello

When we think of the great Russian composer Tchaikovsky, we often conjure up images of his #holiday spectacular The #Nutcraker or perhaps one of his many epic #symphonies. But, for cellists around the world, we often think of this simple, innocent and pastoral theme from his #RococoVariations. Although it is seemingly simple, there are many musical paths at one’s disposal when playing it. I had a wonderful time exploring these possibilities while creating this #shorts!
