Hi good afternoon, I am about to buy from Darkside 4 new Bosch injectors for my golf TDI MK7 TDI with a CRUA engine. I would like to know if after replacing them, I will need to complete this process of adaptation? because they also have for sale this software.
So there are no aftermarket injectors available since they would have to be calibrated to match the flow rates designated by vw serialization per some unknown on each & every comon rail piezo injector?
At least you didn't say "ADAPTION"....on another video, the guy kept saying the right term, but wrong haha. Nor do you call a nut a bolt, or a bolt, a screw! uhh one of my pet peeves. And I agree: ALHs just simply seem much simpler.
Hey coolair. I replaced the maf on my alh tdi as preventative maintenance, felt way better had a lot more power it felt great for a couple weeks. Now i am having boost issues and it's not boosting as much. I have the code p0101 now. I unplugged the maf connector and it only has 4 pins. I am very confused. Because my actual maf has 5 pins but the connection only has 4 wires going to it and 4 pins. It has the slot for the 5th pin though. I have a picture of the connection if that would help
Put the old one back in. Sorry I dont have the number of pins on every component memorized. From memory I think only 3 pins are used. Look up a wire schematic. Other Vw's use 5 pins on Maf because they have a built in air temp sensor but the air temp sensor is on the Map sensor on your car, so I believe it works with three.
Hi.I have a passat b6 cbab,I have 2 errors,p1065 and p0088 high fuel pressure. What could be? The car gets sometime limp, but it can be 2 weeks with no limp and then came again. The car has no fluctuation,it works well, the turbo come on 2500 rpm not on 1800-2000.Could be the return rail? Sometimes starts a liitle bit slow
i dont have this engine but just curious., each injector has its own chip that the ECU talks to and they are serialized with this 7 alphanumeric ID ? Thanks!
Do you need the latest VW ECU software update for this to work? As you maybe putting 2023 latest injectors into a VW with 2010 ECU software, so new injector coding may not be recognised ? Has anyone reading this come across this problem?
It shouldn't happen if it's the same type of injector with the code of same lenght. Injector coding is just a calibration values but written in a code. Your injector offset, pre injection, full load, etc. So it has nothing to do with the age of your car or the injector. The only reason i can think of is why your ecu wouldn't accept the injector code is that some of the values are outside maximum or minimum values. You can search for IMA decoder. Decode the values and then compare them to min/max values that are allowed for your engine,if you can find them.

Hi my injection quantity is bouncing around 1.5 and 2.2 mg it supposed to be around 3.0 to 9.0 mg what could be problem all 4 injectors are within range car is audi a4 2.0 tdi 2006 thanks
VERY helpful thanks a lot M

thats a logical conclusion but I would guess someone is doing it. But software would be better way to make more HP.;
So unadapted do they throw code?

Yeah, that stuff annoys me also.
I worked with a guy that called screws nails and nails screws..... I really don't miss him... at all.
After the injectors adaptation is it necessary to do injector quontity adaptation.? Thanks for your answer.
no

Dont know off hand. Your probably gonna need to get it to shop that can diagnose it.

no. its a calibration.
Have open circuit on all injectors any one know what resistance should be on the 2.0tdi 2012 passat cffb
How do these later diesels stack up to the earlier ALH?
I'm not a fan. If it were legal to delete I might like them better.

I have not run into this.

Dont ask the same question on multiple videos.

We all call it coding....
Its hard to stop. Plus sometimes we say adaptation when its basic settings. oh well.
