- In 2020, Margaux Stack-Babich enrolled in the Master of Public Health program at the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science at UC San Diego, under the health behavior concentration.
After spending 10 years working in life sciences, Margaux recognized the importance of health promotion and education in disease prevention, but she felt she needed a master’s degree to progress in the field. She was not expecting the COVID-19 pandemic to force her cohort to complete their first virtually.
In this video, Margaux shares her perspective on the pandemic's impact on education, how she mastered virtual learning and why she enrolled in the Master of Public Health at the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health.
