I’m with you on the cooking and baking! My husband eats anything I put in front of him, which is wonderful, but I do want to improve and just make really great food 💛
I like what you said "reset my kitchen and home for the next day", I think you coined a new phrase! Thank you very much for the inspiration and your video!
I have a 5 week old and a 3 year old and I am starting to get their naps to sync up so I'm rewatching some of your old videos while I catch up on some chores I haven't done since the baby was born! I love your cheerful spirit about homemaking. That's how I feel too and it's so rare and refreshing!
@@reene1701 with my new baby I'm more or less following the book babywise. She doesn't always take long naps but she is starting to. Basically it involves letting the baby self soothe even from birth, feed every 2.5-3 hrs, and try to follow an eat, wake, sleep pattern.
I followed Baby Wise for both my girls too! It is a lifesaver. My girls nap at the same time in the afternoon and they have for over a year now. Thank you so much!
@@DaveeKilian that's awesome! I did not with my first and he was an awful sleeper. I'm really new at this - didn't start til this second baby was 3 weeks old so I'm still working through it. Hoping it works... we have good days and bad days.
Happy to have come across this video and your channel. I'm a new mom and seeking to learn more about homemaking. Thank you for pointing out that homemaking is about "trial and error" and that it's okay to fail sometimes and allow kids to see how you respond. I'm taking notes and also wanting to learn more how to cook. I didn't learn these things growing up (other than cleaning) so I'm excited to watch more of your videos! New subscriber here btw. God bless! 💛 -Love from CA
I am so glad you came across my channel. Truly I just try to share some encouragement through my everyday living and show people motherhood and homemaking is all a process and I'm really learning along the way too:)
That is a good question. Well, it depends on what area of homemaking you want to better yourself in first. If it is cooking for example, start with making one from scratch meal a week then try two the next week, etc. Establishing a cleaning routine is also a really good place to start.
I loved the part where you said that homemaking is full of variety and every day is different. It's a beautiful lifestyle.
Yes! Thank you!
I love your kitchen sink. So smooth and spacious.

Do you have any advice where to start with homemaking skills when not taught or have any experience from parents?
