Omg 🤗🤩 I'm so happy to see my car on the internet 💛 it's memorialized
Good choice on the smaller wheels
@ brennan shanks you have really good taste in cars! How do you like the T5 engine? Do you find it to be powerful enough?
@@seanm3ify thank you! I'm so fortunate to have them. Yeah, it's adequate. I got the tune and intake to help it a bit. It's plenty for a daily and then I don't have to worry about problems with the supercharger.
I love the v90! big wagons are awesome, the wood and leather on the inside are tremendous and the cabins are very quiet and refined. If I was in the market for a car in this price range it would be a no brainer.
Not going to lie, I actually want a v90. I think its a good looking car
You should! They're such quirky looking cars that have very nice styling.
You forget to mention that the powerseats (heated and cooled) got Massage function aswell! Both front seats got massage. Just a tap on the small lever next to the round nob on the sidewall at the frontseats at 5:34
We love our V90 Inscription 😍
It and the v60 are nice looking wagons.
Volvos and wagons are so underrated in my opinion. Also I love the intro animation.
One of the best looking wagons ever made. These look so sleek and refined. This is a stealth wealth car. Money talks but wealth whispers. It's a shame wagons don't sell in the US so the standard V90 was discontinued. The V90 was special order only so you had to know that you wanted one. The V90 Cross Country is still on sale for now but we'll see how long it manages to hang on. The V60 is a bit small, the design looks better on the V90. At least they're still giving us wagons.
Heated seats: Volvo's from a cold country. They know a thing or two about being warm.
I'm a wagon fan. I considered looking for a used V90 but they're hard to find and I have concerns about any European car's reliability. I also liked the Buick Regal TourX but the materials weren't befitting of the price. It was a sleek European design with a tiny lift and some unnecessary cladding but had the interior and engine from a Malibu. I ended up with a Subaru Outback that's been fantastic. It's a lifted wagon but I like the extra ground clearance.
I had a 2015 Outback a few cars before this and detested it just because it wasn't a joy to drive and the CVT was terrible (I had a loaded 2.5i Limited).
I agree that the front of the V60 looks a bit better because of the lights, but when I cross shopped it it was much smaller and the interior, though very nice, was a step down from this V90.
Recently sold my 05 Legacy GT turbo manual wagon. Fully loaded, big double moonroof, tuned 300hp.
Still haven’t found a modern equivalent, outback doesn’t do it for me, scared of the VW/Audi. Don’t love the idea of a large Volvo with a highly stressed 2.0 4cylinder. Considering the CX-50 and upcoming CX-60… though nothing beats Toyota/Lexus build quality. Truly wish someone made a Japanese wagon with an inline 6 and awd.
@@ricepony33 with the supercharger I can see it being stressed, but the 2.0t is just like every other 2.0t.
Don't go down the CUV hole! 😩
Great video! I just bought the 2019 V90 T5I, and I love it so much! This is my 4th and final, maybe, Volvo.
As soon as I saw it, I knew she was the one. I had it shipped in and it was well worth the wait. Again great video!
"it's not melting my face", haha. Brilliant video as always. Nice Volvo.
Reeeally like Volvos. My dad brought me up loving wagons and I’d love to have a Saab 93 Combi or a V70R. Keep it up with the SwedeSpeed bud!
she's a beauty, thats for sure
Zach, I'm so happy to see you hit 100k+ for a couple of reasons: one is that I have a son born 1999, so totally a supporter of your generation, and two that your videos.arw great and better than the gen xers like myself on YT. Keep up the great work, you make me proud!
Man I love wagons
Volvos...always underrated.
Unfortunately, since America is crazy with SUVs, the automakers don't make station wagons for America
😩
I think it's not only America thing , here in Asia same too. Everyone crazy over SUV and crossovers. I dunno what's the attraction on those tall cars yet very small interior 🤔
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that car & the colors are perfect!
In the video he talks about if you lose your info screen there's no way to adjust your climate control (4:00). Well, it looks like if you lose your screen you lose a lot more than climate control adjustments and as for size, imho, it's pretty big. I'm currently driving a 2010 V70 R-Design and like the firmer ride the R-Design provides and the handling is stellar. It's got 190k miles on it though and have been thinking about picking up a previously loved V90 but it's tough to find one that's not a Cross Country AWD model. I like the FWD T5 Inscription model so probably will keep my eyes open for one of them close by to test drive. Not sold on the 4 cylinder so will need to try one out. My current 6 cylinder 3.2 is smooth, trouble free, and plenty of power. It's my 5th Volvo wagon.
Very nice Volvo. You really don't see too many station wagons on the road these days, at least not in the U S. I do have a sweet spot for wagons, because when I was a kid in the 90s, the minivan had become very popular, replacing the wagon, but there were also many wagons on the road, well into the 2000s. I liked the Buick Roadmaster wagon with the woody panel, and the Ford Taurus wagon. My mother owned a 1992 Mercury Sable wagon when I was a teenager, and owned that car until 2005 or early 2006.
I had an 01 Sable wagon as my college car. Great car, very comfortable and tons of room. I'd love to have a Roadmaster wagon. Because wagons don't really exist any more I traded the Sable for a Subaru Outback, which is a lifted wagon. I'm definitely a wagon fan.
Would like to correct you, R design was a styling choice did not come with the electric motor. There is T4 (Small single turbo) T5 (Big single turbo) T6 (Twin charged) and T8 (Twincharged with ERAD motor in rear axle)
I drive a wagon every day and I wish it looked and went like this Volvo Estate Car. (Fancy term for Station Wagon in the rest of the world.)
So cool
I always loved volvo wagons and been wanting a v90 for a few years. Its a tragedy we dont get more wagons here
Another manufacturer that does the automatic heated seat thing is Chrysler, my family has a 2017 Pacifica and if it’s below 40 degrees Fahrenheit the front heated seats and heated steering wheel automatically turn on when you remote start the car (not the rear heated seats, and not if you start it normally though, which is odd)
Def my next car
I hope you get to drive a turbo brick where they switch out the power train with a v8.
Love wagons. I drive a 07 magnum police charger.
How did I know that you were going to be super excited about driving this 😂
Volvo!!!!
4:12 I wish that vould be defeated because 48F in Alaska in April feels warmer than 70F anywhere in California.
I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy wagon l, but the 5-speed manual transmission made it to 2.2 naturally aspirated four cylinder closing pistol. All wheel drive all day everyday. But this wagon is much better and they have the Legacy, the Legacy being the safest car on the road.
Love Volvo wagons
The R Design doesn't have a different engine. The T8 is the hybrid designation. The R design is a sporty appearance package. (I have a T5 V90 R Design)
My Holden VF Calais v wagon has heated seats, it's not uncommon in Australia for luxury cars.
If these were rwd like the original v90, I'd be very tempted, they look so good, but I know about the issues with fwd Volvo's and newer, so I won't go near them unfortunately.
More wagons please.
1:32 how exactly do you " have a tune on " but " not use it " ???
It can be turned on and off via Bluetooth
Yeah, I got a new phone and hadn't thought to connect it and set it up yet. I typically drive with it off unless I know I'm gonna be doing something zesty.
Front wheel drive ? Wow can you get all wheel drive?
Yes you can, this one just didn’t get that option!
AWD is standard with the T6 which is the same engine just with a supercharger slapped on as well, makes a bit over 300 HP.
I really love the V90 but i still miss the Volvos of the past.
You sound a bit like Jack Black
