pin or worm drive which is better? for shearing handpiece
Hi Rory. I run all worm drives in my handpieces. I'd the safety mechanism doesn't work in the shearing plant then the worm drive can kick out of gear giving an added feature. Also the pin will wear down and the shortcut on a pin drive can wear out where the pin engages the short gut.
