Thank you for sharing this on UA-cam.. Will definitely meet you to know more about it. You are doing a great job of imparting knowledge of waste management.
My bucket is humid like this and I was worried that it was too wet. Looking at yours, it doesn't seem to be a problem. I have thousands of larvae but I think it's from the house fly. I did see a few BSF showing interest the first few days but nothing since other than house fly.
Hi good morning. Do you have kept drain tap for the bucket ? you need to drain the leachet every day. BDF larvaes will be segmented body with both the ends tapering. common house fly larvaes will be one side tapering end and other side broad. Every day mix some brown waste too( dry garden leaves or wood fillings)
The Black Soldier Fly Composting Unit seen in the above video is the modification done by me with due research from original Unit seen in the video of Mr. Jerry from Canada USA, Original video Published in the Year 2010. ( ua-cam.com/video/4zFcDT8gBo8/v-deo.html)
@@eleuteriocarneiro if possible make a video on that too because i because there is no youtuber is showing about how to separate compost.. I stay in Mumbai but goan origin... I stay in building....trying to make a setup for bsfl... I got the success in attracting bsf and got larvae also in the bin..but still want to improve it... There are lot of limitations due to space..but working on it..

@@eleuteriocarneiro yes I have drain holes. Would rice husk do the job? I can get plenty of them!
what is the suggested proportion of the amount of BSFL to the amount of food waste?
To consume 1 kg food waste within 24 hours you need 500 grams BSF larvae
Bsf keep coming in my kitchen compost, and they increase in number so fast, how and when they will leave the compost bin?
Once they finihs eating they will crawl out of your compost bin and hide away from light until turn into cacoon and hatch into adult fly
