He used to be a hero of mine back in the day. A long time ago. I took a class from Dave about 8 years ago- I have to admit a lot of my honest questions went unanswered. We were told that it’s never valid to go outside of the text to determine a meaning in the text. ( Some thing I’m not so sure that I agree with today.) I just wish that he would now interact directly with many of the scholars who have posed questions publicly - And have invited him to dialogue. ( It seems He just doesn’t want to ) Once Dr. Farnell is finished sounding the alarm, I would like to see a direct Interaction with those who have come to certain conclusions. Yes, including Darrel Bock.
My father Ralph E Mackenzie was a family friend with Dr Norman Geisler for 60 yrs Dr Norm was part of the Chicago Statement on biblical inerrancy. My dad and Norm co-authored the book "Catholics and Evangelicals the Similarities and the Differences" Many many In home discussions with Norm and by dad inherency. As a 70 year old man now I can truly say I was a blessed man to have such powerful even evangelicals as friends and family. I was talking with David Geisler recently And he told me he thought that our dads were in heaven working on a new addition of Catholics and Evangelicals. Doubled upon your video and it was quite entertaining. Too I got all the answers wrong LOL...
If it makes you feel any better Pastor Jon I also got a "0" and miserably failed to be a modern evangelical scholar. It paid to go to the Fred Flintstone Bible college age from long ago. Who would have thought it, to literally believe the Word of God for what it is?
I am in a PHD program and see this nonsense in some assigned texts. I call it out as warmed-over higher critical theory. I thought Biblical studies were supposed to be… well… Biblical
I suppose *Let God be true and every man a liar* wasn't written by Paul, and is probably offensive to those "scholars". Thank you gentlemen for discussing this very important subject. I'm with y'all on this. I'd rather just believe the Bible.
Dr Farrell was a prof @ Masters for 24 yrs before leaving in June 2021t to start a new new pastoral training center in Phoenix, AZ associated with Redeemer Bible Church [could that be due to Phoenix Seminary becoming more liberal??
I'm not sure I am clear on your question? Who are you implying by "these guys"? Are you talking about pastors Jon and David, or the scholars they are talking about?
Exceptional discussion!
So thankful for the vigilance of our pastors in preparing and protecting the flock.
Thanks brother :)
So thankful for men like you and Chris who have become an integral part of it.
Wolves in sheep's clothing exposed. Thank you for your faithfulness to God's word in its entirety! Well done 👏
I never thought I'd say that I'm glad my pastor failed at "Bible" questions.

Amen & Amen! Thank you for your commitment to the whole Truth of God's Word❣️🙏🙏
Just stumble on this, and I failed all the questions. Thank you for the work you do. Do this folks don't fear God? There will be judgement.
So grateful to you, Pastor Jon and your team. May God continue to bless the work you do in His name.
G'day from Australia

Thank you for speaking truth. Pastor Jon, your breakdown on the chalkboard statement was inspiring. These podcasts are so important.
This was a great discussion on a paramount issue

Wow... this is just a step away from Progressive Christianity. Thanks for sounding the alarm!

Hi, where I can find Dr. Farnell lectures about the subject?
Is Master’s included in the Seminaries you mentioned?
