I have an issue that I can actually move and do stuff with my referenced cube, it doesn't work like in the tutorial' can you help me figure what's the issue?
@@Marth8880 Haha thanks for the reply, pretty fun to see this comment again after 4 years xD Especially since I'm actually working at a AAA studio as an environment artist now ^ ^'
whenever i switch to vertex mode and tried to increase the length of one side, the other side also tends to be pulled, but at some instance it works jst fine. can u pliz help😊😊
Yes, you can combine geometry into a single mesh. You don't have to have separate objects. It all depends on what you are creating. If it is for modular geometry where a mesh will be reused, then I wouldn't combine, for example a wall and column. I would have one wall and one column. But again it all depends what you are after, your end goal.
This reminds me of your old Maya tutorial. The facility you showed back then was the first thing I ever modeled :D
Nice!
Yeah, I've been wanting to update those tutorials for a while now and finally did it.

Isn't it a bad idea to have objects overlapping each other? Or have I totally misunderstood something? :)
No - only if the player sees the overlapping area.

could you explain in detail how to snap to grids ?
Isn't it much easier to use groups instead of copying each object separately?

Can we combine geometry for game engine? Or separate as individual polygon ?

Little mistake at 19:00 - should be Shift+D not Ctrl+D.
