I do not think that only him would make a difference, as the Jedi were already misguided by their hubris. Only a few individuals could not change the fate of a group that already think they are entitled to affect galactic politics. I often thought, why someone as wise and prominent as Yoda would not see what was happening to the Order. But, when discussing lore, one has to understand that eventually we hit the wall of plot devices. Or maybe Yoda having great selflessness, left the Jedi as a community to move in its own accord instead of him trying to stir them where he wanted. Limiting himself to guide individuals only, maybe...
Qui Gon would have been more interested in finding out why the clone Wars was happening, locating the Sith Lord responsible and trying to end the war as quickly as possible, he wouldn't see fighting in battle after endless battle a victory in the true sense of the word, and only strengthens the darkside, the real battle would be finding the source of the situation, the Sith master and his Apprentice
His first step would probably be to try and reach out to Dooku and get him to come back and expose Sidious. Only question is would he be successful, or would Dooku kill him
@@Trey-dp6tl I think it's a good chance it would be successful and dooku would go back to the light, Qui Gon is probably the only Jedi who could do that to be honest
"I do not serve the Jedi because I believe it is some winning side in a great war. I serve the Jedi Order because it serves the light, and I serve the light not because I believe it is the right thing to do, but because the light is the force. And I serve the force above all" - Qui Gon Jinn (I forget what book)
Dude no joke I just made the return to your videos yesterday after getting back on a Star Wars kick only to find you missing for months and getting really sad then you upload TODAY?! Welcome back!
So happy to see a new video from you! Also, this comic absolutely works as a great extension of Master and Apprentice. I love that he's still growing as a jedi even after achieving knighthood and taking on an apprentice.
Bit if a departure from Legends and Episdoe 1 itself. Qui-Gon believed the Jedi’s purpose was to serve the will of the Force, specifically the Living Force, not to achieve “balance”. That meant while he did not see the Jedi as soldiers, he understood that they must kill without hesitation should the Force call them to do so. Furthermore he would’ve not gone into the cave to find light or “balance.” Instead he would’ve sought out the heart of the corruption and remove it if possible so that the planet could heal/return to the Light. However I do agree Qui-Gon would’ve sat the Clone Wars out, and that he did not like the Jedi being so close with the Republic particularly its politics. He would’ve been against fighting the Republic’s war and instead let the Force guide him. This is why Sidious did not like Qui-Gon and Plagueis in particular was so terrified of Qui-Gon because they quickly realized that if Qui-Gon got even the slightest hint they were Sith, he would stop at nothing to expose them and bring them down. There’s a great passage in the Plagueis novel about this.
A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away.... The Adventures of Omega "the Warrior" Fett (in the hope she survives the series and meets her brother). ~ Rumors are milling around (since writing the original version of this) that Boba may be in the third season. When Omega met me, she told the story of her four brothers, The Bad Batch and Echo. She recounted how The Path sent Asajj Ventress and Quinlan Vos to retrieve Grogu from Mount Tantiss before they were all transformed into Death Machines. ~How she and Crosshair escaped with the help of Nala Se and the sacrifice of her sister, Emery Karr, but they were tasked with going back in for Grogu since they had been inside. They found out Hunter, Wrecker, and Echo went in to rescue them but got caught. They were a force to be reckoned with because they were turned into mindless, evil war machines. She went on about how Quinlan and Asajj released the Zillo Beast, allowing it to destroy and virtually annihilate the compound from the bottom up. She viewed it as "setting her brothers free." She went on to tell how she was mortally wounded. Grogu was torn away from her as he was healing her. Being partially healed, he gave her a chance to survive, but she was still left to die by the Imperial Troopers and Dr. Royce Hemlock's henchmen. Fortunately, Asajj had a feeling they should go back. She heals and trains with Cal and Merrin. A few years later, she leaves The Path and returns to the vastness of the Star Wars galaxy, traveling. First, landing on Ord Mantell and then to Batuu. On Ord Mantell, she spoke with Cid. Cid told her she had to hire a whole gang of Nikto to replace a few special people, especially Omega. She showed me, explaining Cid gave her the white helmet on her wall when they started working for her. She also had the armor. While on a mission given to her by Hondo Ohnaka to retrieve a priceless artifact, she found her way to Jakuu. She helped Rey get her master, Unkar Plutt, to release her. Rey learns every combat skill known to the clones, including some flying lessons (claiming she was never that great, but her friend Hera taught her that "flying is a feeling") and some Asajj and Quinlan taught her. She avoided directly teaching Jedi powers and abilities but passed on the stories they told her. Omega bids her farewell before leaving with Sidon Ithano and Kix. Later, she found Grogu and saw into his memories. She glimpsed that the Nikto were the ones who finally rescued him from the Empire and their cloners. They witnessed all the destruction, swooped in to attack when the Imperials were at their weakest, and rescued him from them. As she held his hand, she knew he remembered her. It made me wish I could spend time with my little sister. I desired to know about her long before. She bid me farewell, but not before I noticed and asked her about her lightsaber. ~ Boba Fett As he narrates each paragraph, the story plays out scenes with Omega at the forefront of her story, including some dialogue and a little more exposition than Boba's memory would entail.
I actually didn't know that this channel became active again and I'm so happy! This is one of my favorite Star Wars channels - I love the content and perspective you put into it! Also, I always gotta stay until the end for the "If not for meeeeeeee"
Anakin was a tool of the living force. The jedi order and the sith needed to be dismantled to bring balance. A hard reset. Not a lot was going to stop Anakins actions.
Great to hear from you again. We love watching these videos 😂 It's always refreshing to see more philosophical stories where the Jedi are open to less rigid ways of viewing the universe and their place in it. Qui-Gon has had wonderful growth over the years through these expanded stories.
BROOOO!!! I’ve missed you so much!! I read something a year or so ago that you may have become one with the Force. 🎉🎉 I’m glad you’re back…if not for meeeeeeee…for those of us who haven’t become one with the Forrrrrrrce!
Thanks for making a another video it’s been 7 months but thank you for making another Star video and. I hope to see more this year I’ve been subscribed to you since 2019.
Star Wars Reading Club! I was thinking about you only today!! What a coincidence! I hope all is going well for you, as you last uploaded a video a long while ago before this one. 😁👍
@Star Wars Reading Club I Missed You & Your Awesome Voice Very Much, My Master!!! 'Welcome Home...You Have Done Well' On Your Video As Always, My Lord!!! 💪💪💪💪💪
thanks for beeing back! As alternative i had the Channel "Star wars Comics" not good i have to say most videos from them are just theory videos and no actual content.
Awesome video 👍🏽 looking forward to your video on what Sidious would think about not fighting being a threat. Idk. I get Jedi shouldn’t be viewed as warriors, but when a Dark Lord has an army taking over planets, enslaving people, killing at will, etc. can’t really do nothing. Waiting for balance. Sidious would have just taken over laughing the whole time. He put galaxy & Jedi in an impossible situation.
Didn't Qui-Gon fight in the Stark Hyperspace War? I'd argue that any Canon around Qui-Gon made when Lucas was still involved is a lot more accurate in representing his behaviour. Qui-Gon wasn't a pacifist. Qui-Gon would've done whatever he felt the Force wanted him to do. With the Force being clouded, he wouldn't have known what to do and would've deferred to Yoda, or sought out the Force Priestesses of the Whills.
He was involved in the yinchor crisis I believe. Violent reptiles , chopped up jedi and sent them to the office of chancellor valorum. And invaded a couple of systems. . Not sure about stark

Qui-Gon had more wisdom than other Jedi of his time.
Him living would have pushed things in a different direction.

Honestly Dooku could be persuaded, it's even debatable if he would quit the Jedi without qui Gon death
@@Eric6761that is why Darth plaguies had to make sure qui gon was killed . He knew that qui gon was key to everything
You really need to upload more often. If not for meeeeeee...for lessons they easily could have learned years beforehand!

The best star wars channel has returned.
I had looked up your channel a few days ago hoping you had come back, and here you are. Awesome.
Yes!! Welcome back, I’ve been worried.
The Return of the King.

But if Qui-Gon Jinn survived he would have been able to train Anakin correctly.
Anakin would still have brought balanced the to force
@jtplug1232 how?
And might even prevent Dooku from falling to the dark side.
And that still means that he might not have fought in the clone wars
Anakin was a tool of the living force. The jedi order and the sith needed to be dismantled to bring balance. A hard reset. Not a lot was going to stop Anakins actions.
