Great ideas - thanks! I think I will give the AeroPress a go.

It’s a well made, portable option. Let me know what you think after you use it.

Check out the Porlex mini or Knock Aergrind grinders. They fit in the Aeropress for storage. I recently switched to the Fellow Prismo Aeropress attachment with its metal filter. Both will make your Aeropress even better.

Love the videos Brad…. I have found 2” x 3” empty tea bags on amazon that you can fill with ground coffee and they have a string closure at the top… I fill a few of them (because someone else will have forgotten their coffee 😉) and place them in a zip lock bag… just drop the whole thing in the boiling water and let it steep… great cup of coffee and easy cleanup 👍☕️

Community coffee breakfast blend instant for me, it tastes good and its quick! I pour enough for what I need in a zip-lok bag and am good to go!

I've figured out that the Folger's packaged in single serve (tea) bags is the option that works best for me. Perhaps not the best coffee, but simply drop a bag into a cup of boiling water and let it steep until it's as strong as you like it. Easy to brew up and easy to clean up. Been doing coffee that way since my wife and I did the western half of the Trans Am back in 2018. Prior to that, we used the Starbucks Via, but neither of us care for their coffee and it was actually really hard to find out on the trail. For longer trips like that, we learned to start looking in grocery stores for resupply before we were actually out, cause a lot of those small town markets don't carry much in that regard. For my 18 day trip down the Divide this year, a 19 count box did the trick with a couple of cups to spare! It packed down pretty well by just taking it out of the box and compressing the bags into in a ziploc bag.

Yeah that is another option. I used those on my boat a couple of times. I thought they were ok.

Sometimes I would do tea. I like yerba mate and buy it in bulk. You can sometimes find reusable tea bags online or at health food stores. Those tiny Stevia packets are nice too without carrying a lot for sugar.

Enjoying all your videos. I rode the Kentucky Bourbon burn last weekend. It was amazing. Did you go this year? Thanks for all your hard work putting together all these videos..

When making Cowboy Coffee the trick is to add about an ounce of cold water to your boiled hot water & coffee. The cold water pulls all the grounds to the bottom and binds them together. You can the pour in a cup without grounds.

I would really like to start making some fresh coffee. Especially after watching this video. But for now it is the keurig at home and scavenger hunt to buy coffee when out riding or camping.

My old man used to say it only costs a nickel more to go first class 🤣

@@BradBeaird 😂I think the act of making the coffee would be the true prize especially when camping. That is the kind of things I like to do when I have the time I don't normally have day to day because I'm always in a rush.

If I’m carrying it all, it’s hard to beat Trader Joe’s All Dressed Up (cream and sugar) instant coffee packets: I’ve done done it other ways, but this is better/easier/lighter.
If car camping, whatever whatever makes you happy.
