If only more bands took notice! They were cranking over 100db in volume and I was able to get a loud, and equally smooth mix because their guitars weren’t cranked to oblivion.
@@chrishammillaudio and the mix of BOTH makes it sound big and powerful. Sadly most guitarists just focus on their personal sound at home while they should be sitting together with their coguitarist to work on their sound for the full band. It takes a good audioengineer to teach them that lesson or they will always sound like mud.
Ok seriously though, that AC/DC set sounded absolutely KILLER. Each musician knew what they were doing and both guitar tones were PERFECTLY dialed in for a live show. That singer was having a BLAST. Wow what a talented group of dudes!
Ikr? The guitars tone was PERFECT you were able to hear both clearly and distinctly without any issue and both tones complemented each other without stepping over the bass or getting drowned under the cymbals Immaculate
That AC/DC tribute band got down the most important thing besides gear: Less gain, more pick attack. Fantastic!

That mix was killer great job
Tip/ if you have a y XLR cable split use it on the vocal so you can have a super clean signal without any processing.
Or I can use whatever the vocalist gives me because that’s what he or she wants to use
@@chrishammillaudio Obviously thats what you did.
This stream ROCKED!

Any bands ever use IEMs at this venue? What's the workflow then at?
Killer videos tho
Yes. The workflow doesn’t change. I just don’t worry about monitors.
Sounds great
