Jean Jacket Upcycle Refashion

My client wanted a jean jacket with a peplum and a little bit of a puff sleeve but not to exaggerated, Medium to dark was but not to dark. Say Less!
I got to work thinking that this'll be simple, but if you've ever tried to thrift a jean jacket in specific color and size you know it's not easy. and onto of that I had to find jeans to match ( to make the peplum and new sleeve).
I found jeans that were close enough , I thought, but once I sewed them together the difference in color was distracting. I ripped it all out and went back to the thrift store.
So this video started as a tutorial and quickly changed to "not a tutorial".
it was taking too much time and I need to finish it and move on to other projects.
Id like to make another one so if I get enough "yes"' 's in the comments there will be a full tutorial coming your way.

YES!! I love the pleats in the peplum. You nailed that sleeve technique. I always make it work and hide the extra in the armpit. 🤣
