Hi Harshita, Thanks for sharing your experience, I want to ask about the dependent visa, If the main candidate with a skilled worker visa is changing jobs, what process would be followed for the dependent visa?
Hi, we haven’t gone through the dependent visa scenario so are not sure. A viewer added a comment saying that dependants can continue on old visa till expiry date and then later on need to switch to new visa/ update their visa. But would advise you to check the gov.uk website and official sources to confirm
Hi, thanks for the useful info. Can you please clarify a question - If I'm still serving my notice period with the current employer and my new visa update process is complete and have also received my new BRP, am I allowed to travel outside the UK?
Hi, Your Video is informative. I am on a Tier2 Visa already and it’s been 6 month I am here in UK, I paid IHS Fees for 3 years already. Now if I change to another tier-2 or another employer for do we need to pay IHS Fees again.? Please Reply.
Hi, some portion of the old IHS gets refunded to the one who applied the old visa, so check that. Then again for the new Visa update IHS fees needs to be paid again
We didn’t go through this in our case but on the gov.uk website (see here: www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/update-your-visa-if-you-change-job-or-employer) it says Your partner or children will need to apply separately to update their visa. Please go through the details on above link.
Hello dear can I ask one question is it necessary to informed previous employer before getting successful email or after getting visa we will inform and gave notice
You can do either ways. I informed my employer when I started the visa application process with the new employer as I wanted to serve my notice period during the time that it takes for visa update.
Hi, I have been told that as soon as i get a decision on my new visa with the new employer, I cannot work for my current employer as my COS would be invalid. But my new company is insisting I give notice only once the new visa arrives and i can serve my notice period after getting the visa decision. What is the correct information here?
In my case, resigned before getting the new visa decision, so that the notice period at old employer and the visa update timeline goes together. The new visa will be with new COS/ new employer, so not advisable to work on new COS with old employer. but seems like a grey area, suggest to use your judgement basis your case.

@@engrnoorulbashar2552 whether you can change jobs will depend on the terms of your current visa. You should find this information in your visa decision letter. If your visa allows for a change of sponsor, you will need to reapply for the same visa with the sponsor change, and this won't reset your ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) counter. However, if changing sponsors is not permitted, you will have to submit a new visa application. In both scenarios, the Home Office will evaluate and decide on your application request. Hii mam im ur subscriber?can u let mee know hws chef life is good choice to come uk?
Thanks for subscribing. Chef is a good work. If you want to see specifically if it lies in skilled worker or not then search in occupation code list here, Eligible Occupation List and Codes
www.gov.uk/government/publications/skilled-worker-visa-eligible-occupations/skilled-worker-visa-eligible-occupations-and-codes
@@HarshitaVivekTalks thanx how can i apply from india to uk please
Afternoon get new BRP then how long days can we work in our previous company.
That depends on your notice period and arrangement with the old employer and start date that you have agreed with the new employer
After getting my new BRP, can I travel to India and come back to join new company?
Yes you can
If I can ask please, if I have a one month gap between joining would it be an issue? Some people saying there should not be gap between switch of company but I want to have a long home trip before I join
No problem. You can join new company upto three months after getting the new brp
Hello Meri wife nee job change kiya hai ..skilled work visa ,, lekin dependent visa kaise update Hota.. please Kuj bataie kyu ke agent nee sirf wife ka hi update kiya hai kehta app ka aun ki approved ke baad mein ho ga ,,,
Hi, we didn’t have the dependant visa scenario. Please check gov.uk website, should have all the details you are looking for
Very good 👍
Thank you so much :)
I want to know much it will cost to me or my new employer?
Please check the details including the costs here on uk gov website; www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/update-your-visa-if-you-change-job-or-employer
Hi @enrootedideas2512 very informative. Please suggest on the below scenario. Suppose I am on skilled worker visa in UK. My current contract will end on Jan and I am planning to start a new employer in March. Is it permissible to have 2 months gap while I am still in UK.
Hi Harshita, I have one doubt regarding a skilled worker visa. I am on a skilled worker visa on digital marketing If I am changing my domain from Digital marketing to Data Analyst for career change.it will create any problem while applying PR.
It wont as long as the visa type is the same. If visa type changes your ILR counter will reset, otherwise no issues.
@@deyabhijit Thank you
If visa type is same (even though brp may need update if employer/job code changes), ilr counter should be fine.
Do we have to pay the NHS fee again, you have mentioned anything related to the NHS in the video and thats the most important part.
A part of it gets refunded, so if your original company had paid that, check with them. Then for the new employer/visa, it’s to be paid again.
my current BRP expired in June 2022 & applied for Skilled Worker Visa Extension, with biometrics done in June.
Its been 10 weeks & I am still waiting for new BRP.Meanwhile submitted my resignation to current company as I got a job offer. My last working date with the current company is Sep 2nd week. Can the new company assign me a CoS , while one application for visa extension is in process?
This is a complicated case. We would recommend take help of a professional visa consultant.
hello Meri wife nee employer change kiya tha June mein auna ka visa aa geya Lekin baad mein Maine file apply ki hai online but abhi tak result pending hai 1.5 month ho geya mein boat chenta mein hnu

Mam new employer ke pa's sponsorship license naw ho to tier 2 update nahi hoga hum freely work kise be condition ma nahi kar sakte har bar new employer ke pa's sponsorship license hona chaye plz mere confusion clear karein
Yes in skilled worker visa you always need a sponsor employer to provide COS
Hi ma'am,
Is there any issues for skilled work visa extension for getting less annually salary. Like, 25,600 per year mentioned in COS but i got paid 20,000 around about per year...?
Sorry no idea on this. You should check with gov.uk or your employer and also let us know how it pans out. Will be helpful for us and other viewers to know as well!
Will there be any problem if I change job after applying UK Visa Spouse?
If BRP gets updated, the dependent’s visa may also need some update. Please check on gov.uk
Do you have the same content in English?

How many years we can work in a skilled worker visa?
Depends on the duration of the visa, usually 3 or 5 years
do we need the resignation letter from the previous employer if you want to swtich with a new employer and if yes so we have to apply in between doing our current job or we have to resign and than our employer will inform the home office like the applicant is not working under me or something like that
Usually ppl get a different job and then resign/ serve their notice. So don’t advice resigning before having another job offer in hand.

How much do we have to pay for a new sponsorship letter?
Hello. Thanks for this video. Found it very useful.
I'm currently in the UK as a Student Visa Dependant (My wife is studying here) The Student Visa is valid till Jan 2023. We plan to extend it for 2 years via the PSW option, i.e go for a graduate visa option and I will then become Graduate Visa Dependant. I am currently working at a software company. My employer is now sponsoring my Skilled Worker Visa. I want my wife to the extend Visa via Graduate visa route. My question is if I take up the Skilled Worker Visa and if the employer fires me later, can I switch to Graduate dependant Visa?
It’s a complex scenario. We would suggest you to consult Visa advisors for your situation in that case. Sorry, we don’t know about it.
@@HarshitaVivekTalks Thanks for your response. I'm glad to know you understood the situation. To be honest I was finding it hard to find the right words. Thanks for your advice. Cheers
Hi
First I need to get COS from new employer and then resign? Or after getting visa should I resign?
I do have 3 months of notice period
Hi, it depends on you, when your next starting date is. Usually advisable to give notice as you start the visa update process so that you can serve notice while your visa is getting updated.
How long does it takes to receive new brp after decision is made ?
Depends on how busy they are and what services you chose/ premium or general…took me 10 days could be 2-3 weeks for some ppl as well

Hi, We are not sure as we are not immigration consultants. so please double check on gov.uk website & such sources. But as far as we can guess, you may be able to switch into another immigration route, but of course, you will need to satisfy the requirements of the immigration route that you wish to extend into.
Hello just for information BRP Card date will remain, what was it earlier and NHS fee did you pay again?
Waiting for your response.
It will be new date according to the visa update terms/ period that you reapply for
What about the NHS fees!!!
How can we find part time job in skilled worker visa
Yes, but limited hours. Check the official website
Hello, I have a job offer to change the job within UK. My question is, what about the dependents visa? do they also need to update it? or its just main applicant who does this?
We didn’t go through this in our case but on the gov.uk website (see here: www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/update-your-visa-if-you-change-job-or-employer) it says Your partner or children will need to apply separately to update their visa. Please go through the details on above link.

Hello
Hey talk normally.. It is irritating when you try fake foreign style accent, definitely it is not British. Its okay to talk in normal English or hinglish. I can't listen to yours even for 5 mins, omg how others are taking it???!?! Or faking it?!?!
@SayWhatnot Guys like you contribute zero and talk nonsense. Have you heard the information? The best on the UK visa change. If it’s irritating, leave from here. Learn something and add meaning to your life!
Haha didn’t know I have an accent. Anyways please don’t watch the video if you don’t want. Let others decide for themselves :)

Hi mam very informative video thanks. One question- I have given my biometric on 2nd July for uk skilled worker visa. Any suggestions on how much time it will gonna take to get the result or how can I track my application? Or any thing I should be mindful for? Really worried😥 I work in MNC, my team asked me to relocate.
Thanks for watching :) usually it takes ~3-4 weeks, depends whether you have opted for standard or priority/ super priority services, with the latter the decision is faster. Don't worry, wait for the decision, stay in touch with the visa agency/ employer in case of any delays. All the very best!
