Agree. I’d rather pay down my mortgage than spend that kind of money on Christmas decorations I’d have to store for most of the year. Very pretty though 🤩
I was looking for Christmas tree baubles on Catch of the day and wow they are insane the prices. Those Christmas trains are so lovely. We love Christmas and we decorate the lounge room alot. We also decorate for Halloween the lounge room and my daughter does a brilliant job every year, stays up late so the grandkids walk into something really nice. Not too spooky for the little one, just cute. Then we have to take it down, though we leave the Halloween stuff up for at least a week after.
@@FrugalFunMum Alot of people do that. Its a back breaking job decorating the tree. I dont think we could ever have those 7 foot ones. Our tree is over 20 years old and its easy to put up its the base and two parts that click into each other. No separate tips to put onelike they have now. I looked at one tonight on Big w and it had over 1,000 tips you have to put on individually and put them in the right spot. What a nightmare. Years ago my middle child gave us such a tree, as it was bigger and newer. I ended up crying over the tips its took hours and hours and then we had to decorate it. That tree was given away. My old tree I will have to keep untill I can find one that easy to put up.
Wow crazy high prices, I loved the train, super cute, would look great in a window display.
I know it was very pretty
