I was reading one of Neil Peart’s books last night, and he was talking about prepping for a tour, and working in particular on transitions, trying to achieve smoothness. Not foot specific, but interesting, the same subject coming up again. Very helpful, MM. Thanks and keep em coming! 👍
We make always use one foot to bass pedal kick and one to hit hat cymbal but sometime could'nt use ritme with hand rigth so ritme no easy listening for hear but mangini give me more lecture for experience technic play drum to play drummer actually. Thank you mike magnifico....!
I don’t think there is much to do except of playing paradiddles. Just turn on a metronome and try to find that speed thats just over your highest comfortable speed. And then just practice at that speed. Once you can do that, go a bit faster and repeat that. It‘s really just practice at all.
You're a very talented drummer, a talent born from much hard work and practice. 👍 But your explanations are convoluted and wordy. There's a huge difference between being able to do, and being able to teach. Keep it clear, simple and direct. 👍
Holy crap, for a moment, I thought, "WTF is Ozzy doing behind a kit?"
