They said that "We're not that very popular around here(London), But it seems theres high demand for our music in Asia, so we traveled quite lot there." The music genre called "Citypop" and It was quite a wave back in 80s-90s in Japan. They started more as an Electro-soundcloud-ish band and in the process they ended up making music with more-like band format. The video created when they're in their Korea tour( I forget where i cited this, but they def said this before on an interview). The Japanese cover is also because of high demand of their music in Japan and Japanese people known to enjoy music in physical form instead of digital.
