I miss the time when I was studying in the US. There was a night when my friends and I drove all the way from Utah to California. The highway looked the same, the music was the same, and the atmosphere was so chill. We didn't talk much, just chilled with those good old songs and felt so 'free'.

I put this in my VR headset while drinking coffee in the evening. That's how much I miss road trips. Well here you go folks, it is in fact Rai Thistlewaite lead singer and multi-instrumentalist from cult Australian band Thirsty Merc. I've seen them twice in the last 6 months at Albury and of all places Yackandandah. Also toured with Joe Satriani. Great band live.
