    Awesome footage! Some of those shots in the sand were epic! It looked tropical at points 🤩 How long were you out for each day?

      @@OceanicMatt Thanks! "Grotlesanden" is a magical place. Lots of sand there so visibility in the water tends to be good. It was two very long dives. About 9-10 hours in total. Difficult to stop in such conditions😅

      @@Bjoern_Spearzen Thanks for the nice comment Bjoern_Spearzen😊 Yes, it becomes less personal with AI. 100% agree. But I get my message out in a nice and understandable way, I think. And I also think that AI voice is a fantastic tool when it is used in an honest and fair way. Thanks for sharing your thoughts😊👍

      @@Spearfishing_johYeah, totally get it. Am also using AI in my articles- it all depends on how you use it.
      Just thought that especially for YT personality counts a lot. :)
      But in the end you can probably also grow the channel this way! Wishing you loads of luck!

    • @Spearfishing_joh
      @Spearfishing_joh  2 місяці тому +1

      @@Bjoern_Spearzen Yep. I think it will become more and more popular to use AI voice on both YT and as you say in articles. And eventually perhaps more generally approved under proper use. There is already a large percentage of reels and shorts out there that are AI voiced. It's the perfect tool to create your own story to share with others. You lose a bit of the personal touch. But it brings new interesting views and stories onto the field. The future will tell😊 Thanks for the support👍

    Love your content Joh!
    I recognise the beach, as i have considered driving the 1,5 hour to go there myself, but now you have shot all the fish..😂 keep the good content up! Do you have any good tips for getting cods in western Norway? I have never had any luck, but im also fairly new to spearfishing, and only from shores😊cheers!

    • @Spearfishing_joh
      @Spearfishing_joh  2 місяці тому +1

      @@TOBE1833 Thanks for the support😃 You have to go there. Been there three times now. It has been worth it every time. Still a lot of life left😅 The first time I was there I was much further out. Out by the small islands (watch out for boat traffic). On that trip I saw three cod. Probably a lot of cod there under the right conditions. I see a lot of nice big cod in February, March and April here. They lie and rest in the kelp forest. I found little life in the beginning too. But you learn a lot from searching and testing out new places, seeing what others are doing, reading about when the different fish come up in shallower water and diving a lot. Just keep going and don't give up. Calm movements and no bubbles when diving are important.

    Hej man awesome Video. I will go in Tromsø soon. But why are you not allowed to shoot salmon in the ocean with the speargun?

    • @Spearfishing_joh
      @Spearfishing_joh  2 місяці тому

      @@timbaum7694 Thanks😃 Cool! Envy it🤿 It has always been like that. At least as long as I can remember. Limited use of fishing gear to catch a specific species. It is probably because it is necessary and there is a great desire to protect the stock. Many people are working hard to increase the stock and create better spawning conditions, and there are generally strong opinions about salmon, seatrout and seabass here in Norway. Night hunting for seatrout has recently been banned in Denmark. But there they shoot seatrout during the day. and it is legal. But who knows for how long

      @@Spearfishing_joh makes sense, thank you!. I'm fishing since I was like 2 years old and I love it. I was also into "normal" fishing with my dad and explored Salstraumen and other regions by boat, but never spearfished before. This summer I'll try it out, got some equipment and trying to figure out the laws right now, specifically for fish that doenst count into the 18KG export quota, as my plan is to catch it for a year for me and some friends, and then come back next year. I'm totally against exploiting the ecosystem. Do you have a recommendation where I can read about laws regarding this matter? No problem if its in norwegian or its a norwegian office to call, my girlfriend speaks the language :)
