What are they going to do cut her 5 feet off? That is a sick stereotype and people like you make others afraid to go to the salon. Every salon I’ve gone to has cut off the right amount
Yes, stay away from salons unless you know the stylist really, really well. I have had the best luck handing the scissors to the person who loves my hair best. The one who shouts "don't cut your hair!" is the one who will take the most time and cut the least amount.
agreed. i had to get my hair trimmed but my regular broke her arm so I went to like super cuts or something like that. I got more then I asked for. it wasn't bad but still. i told my stylist I don't care how long it takes but next time if she breaks her arm I'll wait. she laughed.

To be fair this hair length is unachievable for most people. Her hair's anagen (aka growing) phase is MUCH longer than the average person, probably like 10 years. Your hairs maximum length is determined by how long stands can stay in the getting phase before falling out and 5 years of hair growth will not get this long. Also split end trims are necessary for growing hair long if you have drier hair and use heat or chemicals often. Fr most salons cut off too much but this hair length is not achievable for most people.
If I want to grow my hair I legit go the salon once every other year to add layers. That's the only way to get it to truly grow bc if you go every 8 weeks they do exactly what you said and cut off the new growth 😢
This literary proves nothing. You could never go to a salon again and ur hair wouldn’t grow passed a certain point. That length isn’t achievable for everyone
I totally understand your fear, my hair was almost to my knee and a stylist cut it to my elbows. Which I know for some people that would still be considered long but for me who only wanted a tiny dusting of the ends it was freaking horrific!!! And like you I really take great pride and joy in my hair and keeping it healthy! There was no reason to chop all my hair off!!!
@SB-rk2nc best i can say if you're looking to go, talk to your stylist before any scissors come out. Show them visually where you want it cut to, and have pictures of what you're looking for. Just telling them how many inches/centimeters to cut is where too many people mess up. They dont use a ruler, and you're basically asking a stranger to eyeball exact measurements. Sometimes, even you may be off on what an inch or two is, lol. If at any point it sounds like they aren't listening to you or dont have the same vision as you, you can leave. The biggest key to a good haircut is always going to be good communication.
I am so sorry you experienced this! I have had 18inches off and it was a shock, I can't imagine what you went through with even more than that cut off. I hope your hair grows back quickly!
I recently got a trim for the first time in years . I reached out by text to the stylist I’d been recommended and messaged with them a good bit just to make SURE they understood what I needed help with. My advice: make sure to have them trim when you’re standing up, so you don’t lose more length than you want. Also make it clear that you only want them to trim your hemline, the very tips of your hair AND NOTHING ELSE. Most stylists just don’t understand that you don’t need or want them to add any layers of any kind, that all you really want is a trim right at the very ends of the longest strands. Spell it out for them and make sure they can and will work within those limits before you book an appointment. A good many stylists are so accustomed to just being trusted to do whatever that it can take them some time to understand what you NEED them to do for you. If they can’t understand, or seem to resent the fact that you’re not in need of their artistry, just thank them for talking with you, and move on to find someone else.
But you do understand they know hair better than you because they literally went to school for it and just because you want the very ends trimmed doesn't mean that's what your hair NEEDS!!! Just because you notice most of the damage at the very tips of your hair doesn't mean those split ends stop at the very tip of your hair. The longer you tend to go without a hair cut the more they need to cut your dead ends off to get back to the healthy hair!!!
Gosh this is why I love my mom's style of cutting hair. Shell cut it below where you ask first, then ask you if you still want more off. And if your hair needs layers, then the shortest strand will be the level you wanted, but everything else is longer because she knows people like to preserve their length.
Exactly how I go about clients hair.. I always say it's your hair I'll do whatever you want. Not everyone is ready for a big chop even though they might need it. And that's fine.
@@MsRosemassacre So true! If her clients have split ends above the length they ask for, she'll tell them and show them, then offer her opinion only if they ask for it. If they disagree, she continues with what they want, because it's their hair.
When I was younger I used to kind of hate my hair. My mother is Korean so her entire side has this beautiful black and shiny and straight hair. And I'm over here being mixed with my dark brown curly frizzy wavy hair that I hated taken care of cuz I could never get it to lie down. I used to literally pray for it to get straight like my mom's. And then my mom had no idea how to take care of hair like mine. I hit puberty and my hair just went wild. It took me until I was in my mid-twenties to figure out I had to use black hair care products to actually make my hair look good. My mom really didn't know a whole lot about it. So she did the best she could but I'm telling you I looked like a poodle in my 6th grade picture😂. But as I've gotten older I have come to appreciate it more. I don't have to worry about it getting greasy. I don't have to worry about how much I wash it. And I don't have to worry about really getting my hair completely even. When I was a senior in high school I cut my hair shoulder-length by myself. When I was in 9th grade I had gone to visit my family in Korea and my aunt took me to this fancy salon where they did this permanent straightening thing. It was gorgeous but only until my natural hair started to grow back so I had this weird mix of straight at the bottom and this frizzy monster growing out of my head😂 By the time I was a senior I got sick of it and I just chopped it off. It took me about 5 minutes and I did it in the mirror my hair over my face and make sure it was even and it look like I went to a salon. I think that's when I started appreciating it This girl's hair so pretty though. Her length? I could never. My hair hardly grows below my shoulder blades. . Totally jelly
@@shadowcollins4589 Oh I can't relate, but that sounds like what I've heard a lot of my other mixed friends saying! I'm mixed too, but I'm African mixed with Indian, so I have this weird frizzy mess going on. My mom has beautiful curls but because of that Indian blood, I have no curl pattern. It's just frizzy. Trying to get it to curl never works, so I just braid it and leave it alone for a few weeks lol. My dad chopped my hair terribly once, and that was when my mom learned how to cut hair. So now my mom only cuts my split or fried ends every few months and lets it grow. The great thing about black hair is that it grows best with little maintenance, at least in my case. I've been growing it out since I was 14, and now that I'm 24, it's down to my waist when straightened. I've had a few inches taken off here and there, but as long as I leave my hair alone, it will grow
This is why I love my curly hair! Because I don't have to be super precise when I cut it for it to look good. After an entire childhood of having hair stylists cut my curly hair when it's wet, so that by the time it dries it's super short, I gave up on salons and just do it myself. I trim off the damaged ends when my hair is dry. I've been doing this for about 15 years and it's the healthiest and best my hair has ever looked!
Its been 2 years since my last visit and its STILL uneven and choppy 😭 Its finally almost at a length where I can cut it myself like this and even it out. Never going to a salon again, I've always left in tears and in pain
You are supposed to cut curly wet. I however also do not trust hair salons. I cut my curly hair from being below my butt to a medium length. Gave myself lots of layers, died it black, and it is a french shag style. It looks awesome and Ive gotten so many compliments from it.
I do the same! It helps that, not only is my hair curly, it grows fairly fast too. By 4-6 months, I have to add layers again cause it’s grown out so much. I cut my hair wet and then go back in when it’s fully dry to touch up. Its a lot of fun.
i am so glad i have had one hairstylist my entire life. she does exactly what i want everytime and if i don’t like a change she does her best to make me happy without damaging my hair
Don't ever let anyone tell you what to do with your body. You will spend all of your time worrying about what other people think, and you will lose yourself. when you are beautiful, just the way you are.
No one told her what to do people gave her their opinions. Thats it you wrote a whole paragraph anywhere I go don't worry about others you're perfect the way you are gosh we get it
You don't lose yourself if you're a normal person. Just take the goddamn suggestion. I hate this body positivity stuff. It creates such a horrible ideology and it just gives everyone victim mentality whenever somebody tells them otherwise
you have to cut above the hairband and make sure the hairband is wrapped very evenly!!! that way the hair you cut is then all held together in one bundle and you can do a bit of point cutting and see how the hair evens out. that’s how me and my mom have always done it and it works really well.
Noooo... I made that mistake trusting a friend (who was secretly jealous of my long ringlet hair) "I lost it all due to her not being able to cut it straight across" due to the curls .
@@ally6526 it all depends on who the friend is as a person and what they can do I recently let my two best friends even my hair out and cut them into a blunt bob. We did it wet since I have curls. I trust them and they are perfectionists, so it turned out flawless!
@@ally6526as someone w curly hair don’t trust anyone but a professional who specializes in cutting curly hair, i’ve lost too much hair in my life to ever trust anyone else 😭 it’s worth the extra $
Stylist here! While I am very careful with preserving length, I know that that’s not everyone’s experience. With your hair as long as it is, I would say skip the salon and stick to what you are doing. The slight difference in length at the end of your hair doesn’t change the overall look. My professional advice is to not worry about it too much haha, as the ends look a lot better, and you probably aren’t wearing your hair straight down most of the time anyway.
Our hair cutting combs have a ruler on them. Ask your stylist to show you on the comb what theyre going to cut. Explain to them your fear and that you absolutely do not want to lose amy more hair than you asked for. And watch the floor. You can see what she cuts off so you can have peace. Finally, if you're feeling uncomfortable, ask for a mirror to see for yourself. Your hair is so long they will probably need you to stand to cut it anyway. So you can stand while they cut it and look into the mirrors to see the back. Make sure before you start that the stylist is prepared to be patient with you. We are people too, we sometimes are a bit desensitized to how important hair length is to some people. So just be very clear and firm about it while still obviously being kind and courteous. A consultation is very important, and if you don't feel good about the consult, then you do not have to move forward.
Not every stylists combs r ruled. Iv never seen one in personal visits and only found out there was such a thing as it was used in the schools chosen company they used for curriculum. I wanted one but cud not find it online
Even if you don’t go to a hair salon specifically, having someone else cut it straight for you would definitely help. Hair cutting is a bit tricky cause there’s so many angles you have to worry about
most of hairstylishs doesn't care about what you want, but those who has childhood trauma by other hairstylishs cutting most of their hair even when they said they doesn't wanted will truly respect you.
Fucking trauma because you lost some hair? That's so stupid. Oh wahh wahh ms hairstylist cut off 4.11 cm instead of 4.101!!! My life is ruined! Everyone's gonna notice and bully me wahh I'll remember this and flinch at every single salon I see when walking down the street! I need 8 years of therapy now. You're ridiculous. Fuckin hell I can't believe people unironically act like this.
Telling her to trim the ends doesn't make her less amazing, it's just a friendly advice to to look more crisp and probably for healthier growth too Not every advice of change is wrong or shaming it's just normal sometimes
Don’t go to a salon… people in the comments will disagree but salons will try their hardest to change your mind. If they want to bleach your hair, they’ll do everything they can to try and convince you(sometimes even blatant insults like “you look ugly with brown hair, let’s go blonde it’ll look better”.). I’ve also found instead of asking, they tell. So instead of “does this length look good to you?” They’ll say “this length looks best” or “we’ll go shorter so it matches your face”. They try and act like they know all. They’ll make you feel bad about not cutting your hair, saying everything bad they can think about it. “You probably sit on it all the time” “I can see it gets dirty easily”. They try and trick you. I went in a few years ago to get a trim. I have an undercut hairstyle with a man bun. The ends were super dead so I wanted to trim them. The lady insulted me like no other. How “men don’t do this hairstyle anymore” or “you’d look presentable without the bun”. After I said I just wanted a trim. I left not being able to put my hair back cause it was so short. My sister wanted highlights(she’s dirty blonde.)Just highlights. She came back with dark brown hair with highlights and pink in the ends) my other sister wanted shadow root since her hair was super blonde (she felt bald she says) she came home with brown hair and highlights. And let me just say…. They look the same now!!
The only time I’ve been convinced of something by my stylist was to do a different shade of black than I wanted to do and I still loved it. I didn’t compromise on going black (she wanted to basically make my hair more brown and lose the blond and red highlights) I told her I don’t like it (she let me see swatches against my skin tone so I could see how it might look) we compromised between what I wanted and what she wanted and I loved it! Besides that, she always listens to what I want and what I like. I had a stylist like what you’re talking about, on top of flat out refusing to color my hair for the reason “I just don’t think you’ll look good” she was always late and cancelled on us several times ON OUR WAY to her salon. This other girl is much better, if I want something she listens and discusses options that are safe for my hair.
Yeah this stuff is why my friend left cosmetology. They said it was too cliquey and all everyone did was bitch, complain and fight. No one liked one another and no one really learned much.
@@_cherry_berry_ yeah same if they don’t then you should report them to their supervisor or the board cause they can lose their license if enough complaints pile up
I want to be a hair stylist bc i love giving people the style they want. I cut my hair, my fiancez hair, his brothers hair, some of my coworkers, family members, and friends. Im not trained, im self taught, but i ask what they want and watch a few tutorials and get it done. I never charge them for the haircuts either since I'm not professional, it's more of a hobby. I want to be the person who can trim the hair of someone with super long hair or show them how to do it so they can do it themselves without having to worry about too much being cut off. Hair is so fun and important for confidence and culture, it should be treated with that level of importance. I hope to go to cosmetology school soon and get my license so i can help. Your hair is so gorgeous, you deserve to keep it as long as you want with healthy ends to keep it growing 💜 you did great, hair cutting is intimidating and is more difficult to do on yourself than on someone else, im proud of the result you got!
Just get a friend to come even it out for you. _A friend that is supportive of you retaining your length and will even it out to when you made the shortest original cut._
They love to cut off more than you want if you have long hair, and not take off enough when you have short hair. The hairstylists never want to cut my hair as short as I want it-- it drives me NUTS. I basically have to convince them that I won't leave until they cut it as short as I want it before they'll do it for me
Same! I've been wanting short hair again for so long but every time i go to a salom they're always like "but that's like... SO SHORT are you sure you want it that short???" Like yes i am prepared i know the consequences just chop it off please!!
I have similarly long hair and I was always concerned to have my hair cut at a salon because I didn’t want them to cut too much. (I went to this salon with my other mom and they took off way too much) anyways my mom actually took me to this beauty school where they ofc have a salon and they cut off exactly how much i wanted. So I recommend you try going to places like those as you want to keep your length and they want good grades so they will not cut more than you want. Hope it helps!
That is actually kind of genius, cutting really long hair is the easiest, they will also be less confident that they know best because they are new so they will be more likely to listen to you instead of pushing their own options on you.
Salons are notorious for cutting off way more than they should. My hair used to come down past my waist, went to get about 2 inches off. Told the lady 2 inches, even showed it where exactly to cut it off. She lopped it off up to my shoulders. I was devastated 💀
They seem to like to do that. Huge cut in length to impress you. I have had long hair and gone short, but the difference is I ASKED for it. They should totally respect people's wishes.
@@cheryl-lynnmehring8606 At the time I was really annoyed (didn't say anything to the lady there tho), but now I prefer this length. Still wish she had listened to me tho
There is a significant minority of stylists who are scissor happy. I know one woman who had 14" chopped instead of the 2" trim she asked for! Plus layers! It looks phenomenal now. Do not trust another to cut it. Once the hair is gone, it is gone.
If a stylist is going against what you want, you can stop them. You can say “that’s not what I wanted, stop cutting” and pay a small fee and walk out. What are they gonna do, run after you with scissors? That first chop of 14 inches should have prompted an immediate, “NOPE”
Wow, I didn't realise how long my hair must look to other people until watching this! Mine had got down to my ankles because I hadn't been trimming it myself or going to a salon during the first few years of the pandemic. I'm still shielding now but this year I finally bit the bullet & got it trimmed back to waist/elbow length. My hair is a similar texture to yours at the top & I find if I do little trims every few months if the ends are feeling whispy or just starts to feel less healthy, then a big cut at the end of summer (enough to donate), not only does my hair grow back a lot faster but the bottom half isn't as sparse as yours appears to be looking at this video. Before it was cut I was noticing if I put multiple hair elastics in like you have done here then the bottom couple took a fair few more twists to stop from just sliding out, which wasn't the case when I trimmed semi-regularly. As much as I feel practically bald when a hairdresser chops a foot off my hair (or in the case of my last visit, more than 2, eep!) I've come to accept that if I don't do that then my hair growth slows right down & the condition goes steadily downhill. The one issue a have now is that it's grown super fast & thick since the first cut this year & it's already grown past my bottom, only this time it's thicker so heavier than when it was down to my ankles! Gosh, how we suffer 😂 I thoroughly recommend getting someone you trust to give it a proper cut back to a head full of shorter but uber-healthy hair...rather than super long & healthy-ish but with those last few iffy inches. If you want to do it yourself there are clips you can use to create a straight horizontal line which you can then pull over your shoulder to cut where its east to see. You have to section the hair & do part at a time if you have thick, coarse or curly hair but they're perfect for finer more sleek hair. I honestly think if you took it back to that second (to bottom) hair elastic it would look amazing, but even just 4-6 inches would make a huge difference to the volume, how it flows, & grows...I suspect you'll be surprised at how fast it's back to the pre-trim length. And of course, as all of us super long tressed maevens know, nobody but you would even notice you'd cut it because loooong hair is loooooong hair even when you chop 2 feet off! If you do go for a cut rather than a trim, do make sure you're careful first time brushing afterward. I was a little too exuberant, muscle memory was expecting 2 feet more of resistance against my brush & because that extra hair wasn't there my hand just launched into my bedroom wall. Thankfully I broke my brush rather than my hand! 😂😂😂 Sorry for rambling on at you. Can't wait to see what you decide. Take care x
OMG!!! Your hair looks awesome, both before and after the trimming:)! I know you must have felt badly about the first attempt at trimming your hair, but it all turned out well in the end:)!Also, if you have a friend that you really trust, that might be one way to deal with the issue, or there are a ton of different UA-cam videos that explain just how to trim your own hair:)! You have just to ask and search:)! Lee
I would say go to a salon but I would also say that if you’re going to a salon be EXTREMELY clear on the length. Also if they tell you that they “need” to cut more off just say “No I want my hair to be this length” because they are just hairdressers, they don’t have power over your hair.
Stay clear of hairdressers. My hair was down past my butt. I asked for dead ends to be trimmed, and they took off enough for it to be right by my shoulder blades. I lost it. I refused to pay for the whole colour, cut, etc, and walked out. The owner came up to me outside, deeply apologised, and the woman who cut my hair got the sack. She took off around 2.5ft. I will neverrrrr go back to a salon. 😢😢
i mean look, that’s absolutely horrible but was ur hair healthy? what if they genuinely thought u wanted all dead ends and ur hair was dead up to the shoulder ? if not and it was healthy then that hairdresser is gross
@allbaedoe They usually get it to the length that needs cutting to get rid of dead ends and show you through the mirror how much is needed off it is more than a few inches. My hair has always been looked after, I took a course and now dye and cut my own hair. I don't trust anyone anymore.
@@allbaedoe All hair is dead. There is no visible, living hair. If the ends are damaged, they should tell the customer and let them decide whether they want shorter, less damaged hair or whether they'd rather keep the length.
Oh! No, don't go to a hair salon, as there are too many stories about disasters that have come ffrom trusting such beautiful hair in the hands of a stylist!
Your ends look great girl! As a girl with curly, thick hair, its even a challenge for me to get it even the first time and its normal for the first cut to not be straight and to have to go in and cut some parts a little more. No need to go to a salon. ❤
Cutting even a little from your hair can feel like cutting a piece of yourself. Do what feels right to you and be open to change your mind eventually in the future.
Face your fears and get it cut at a salon! When my hair was mid thigh length I had been cutting it myself for like 4 years, we miss a lot of damage! I went to a salon and told the girl to do what she needed to do, went from mid thigh to tailbone but oh my god my ends went from thin to THICCCC!!! So much easier to brush, wash, handle in general. This was 2 years ago and I still keep it around my tailbone because honestly I’m too tired of my hair falling in the toilet and I hated sitting on it then trying to move my neck and then pull something
It looks fine love, worst case ask a friend or family member you trust to even it out if it bothers you. Also could make it a soft U shape instead straight.
This is what I do to mine too😂 I hold it in the back after it's laying straight then grab it trying to keep it straight so I can try to try to trim it correctly. Glad I'm not alone
I was growing out my hair for 2 years and it was really log but my mom convinced me to go a hairstylist to cut my ends I told them to ONLY cut like 2 centimetres. I left crying
These comments make me sad. I've had super long hair most of my life and a hair salon has never done me dirty and cut off more than i wanted. With that said, I will add that the day I wanted a couple feet cut off, the hairdresser looked SO HAPPY.
Girl don't go to a salon if you don't wanna. TLDR: NEVER trust a stylist when trying to grow out your hair or keep length. Currently learning how to do my own undercut and trim. I've been trying to grow out from a pixie with an undercut (keeping the undercut as it grows) and everyone started saying my ends looked dead and uneven, needed a trim. So I went to the salon while my usual stylist was still on maternity leave (biggest mistake, should've just put it off another month). I had 6 months of growth, told them I wanted 1/2 inch MAX off the ends. She cut off 4 1/2 INCHES, almost all of my growth. and it wasn't even a good cut, so to fix it, another stylist had to cut off another inch, putting me back even FURTHER than square 1. It's now back to 6 months of growth and I'm doing everything I can to get it to grow (taking biotin, drinking collagen drink mix, hair mask at least once a week etc).
I don’t know if tis would help but wetting / damping the ends would make it easier to cut! I do that with my fringe :>. It makes ur hair fly around less u getz
honestly speaking, as a hairdresser myself, not all hairdressers are that bad when it comes to cutting some length off😭😭 but hair this long would be the worst nightmare of every hairdresser in terms of washing and drying them. i would probably start crying
Cut above the band!! Its banded for a reason-so band below where you want to cut and do the cut above the band, + itll all stay together that way! Sending love, your hair is awesome!
I'm scared to go to a hair salon because I had a bad spirits too, because when they cut my hair, they did it almost way to shore, and I had to pull away and almost like to my shoulder, they kind of do so glad I napped, but now my hairs like past my ankle, kind of.
Don't go to a salon if u want to keep the length. They are notorious for taking more off than you asked
What are they going to do cut her 5 feet off? That is a sick stereotype and people like you make others afraid to go to the salon. Every salon I’ve gone to has cut off the right amount
mines the opposite she doesn’t cut my hair short enough
I think this all shows all people work differently and hairdressers can work differently but also people’s preferences differentiate
Salons understand one way!! Speak specific loud instructions, make it clear!! And carry a very big stick!!
My trick for that is to bring a ruler.
Yes, stay away from salons unless you know the stylist really, really well. I have had the best luck handing the scissors to the person who loves my hair best. The one who shouts "don't cut your hair!" is the one who will take the most time and cut the least amount.

I'm not reading all of that

It was gorgeous but only until my natural hair started to grow back so I had this weird mix of straight at the bottom and this frizzy monster growing out of my head😂
By the time I was a senior I got sick of it and I just chopped it off. It took me about 5 minutes and I did it in the mirror my hair over my face and make sure it was even and it look like I went to a salon. I think that's when I started appreciating it
This girl's hair so pretty though.
Yeah, OK I’ve come out with a mullet multiple times
Its been 2 years since my last visit and its STILL uneven and choppy 😭 Its finally almost at a length where I can cut it myself like this and even it out. Never going to a salon again, I've always left in tears and in pain
You are supposed to cut curly wet.
I however also do not trust hair salons. I cut my curly hair from being below my butt to a medium length.
Gave myself lots of layers, died it black, and it is a french shag style. It looks awesome and Ive gotten so many compliments from it.
Do the unicorn cut if you want it shorter and still want it to look nice.
Don't be bullied your hair is fine, quit worrying about what people say. It doesn't matter what other people think, you're the one who lives with it.

Trimming her hair would only make them better. And it's not like anyone's threatening her they're just giving advice.
you have to cut above the hairband and make sure the hairband is wrapped very evenly!!! that way the hair you cut is then all held together in one bundle and you can do a bit of point cutting and see how the hair evens out. that’s how me and my mom have always done it and it works really well.
THANK YOU!! I see so many people who do the hairband thing and always cut underneath it 😭😭😭
It looks SOO MUCH BETTER! You could also have a friend or relative clean it up/even it out for you! Thats what I would do
Noooo... I made that mistake trusting a friend (who was secretly jealous of my long ringlet hair) "I lost it all due to her not being able to cut it straight across" due to the curls .
@@ally6526 it all depends on who the friend is as a person and what they can do

I asked my hairdresser to cut cm and at the end she cutted like half of mh hair
Yeah this stuff is why my friend left cosmetology. They said it was too cliquey and all everyone did was bitch, complain and fight. No one liked one another and no one really learned much.
Lol mine do as I said
@@_cherry_berry_ yeah same if they don’t then you should report them to their supervisor or the board cause they can lose their license if enough complaints pile up
I want to be a hair stylist bc i love giving people the style they want.
They look so pretty 😊
Just get a friend to come even it out for you. _A friend that is supportive of you retaining your length and will even it out to when you made the shortest original cut._
They love to cut off more than you want if you have long hair, and not take off enough when you have short hair. The hairstylists never want to cut my hair as short as I want it-- it drives me NUTS. I basically have to convince them that I won't leave until they cut it as short as I want it before they'll do it for me
I asked for a trim once and she gave me a Karen haircut.. she said I was “growing up”..

Gosh, how we suffer 😂
I thoroughly recommend getting someone you trust to give it a proper cut back to a head full of shorter but uber-healthy hair...rather than super long & healthy-ish but with those last few iffy inches.
Sorry for rambling on at you. Can't wait to see what you decide. Take care x
