For blackbeard there are certain cases where you want to go first for example pluffy and doffy to steal their curve, so that could be influencing the WR statistics for him. Even if you can steal first vs these decks, its still an uphill battle to win, so that could potentially be a reason for a lower going first WR. I wouldn't look at this data and say that you always want to go second as BB, because it is really situational based on the MU.

Not sure why RPLuffy has such a bad win rate against Bonney, I've done pretty well with it against local Bonney players. I've also gotten crushed by Zoro as PLuffy, so I guess it depends on the pilots a lot! Great video! Very insightful!

Also this might be too over the top but would you be able to do some basics statistics like a t-test / z-test for some of the winrates? For example, when I see purple luffy being 60 WR going first and 40 WR going second, it feels is pretty insane. I’d be curious if there’s statistical significance / p-values here.
You really should try belo Betty again, she slaps unless you run into doffy or Lucci and Lucci isn’t played too much anymore. My deck was the one that was highlighted in this past weeks meta report. It doesn’t have koala in it but I like it a lot

I disagree with rp vs Dofi I think rp has minimum 50% to win And when u see kid and whitebeard it’s close to unwinable for Dofi Iam grinding rp now for long Abd it’s a really fun deck . Just when u see Bonny it’s awful 😂
As a Doffy player I agree, if Doffy can get a strong start and slow down the ramp while forcing RP Luffy to 0 life before he can play out Kid+Newgate, it's very winnable but once RP Luffy has managed to get big Gum Gum Giant makes it pretty hard to make any further progress. I think it also really depends on who gets to take the going first curve.
@ yeah I completely agree 👍🏻 when Dofi can stop the ramp like bouncing zorojuro and the rp doesn’t see another ramp Dofi is way to fast ( when he sees what he needs) but when rp goes in his kid whitebeard state is so difficult 8/9k leader with giants is to hard to manage
Shouldnt do tier list based on which deck won a tournament when most of them won because of matchups. Thats how you overlooked shanks just because he wasnt top2 frequently in tournament but has a lot of appearances in the top cuts which is the goal of most of us.
By far the most appealing data presentation among all OPTCG UA-camrs. Kinda sad to see that PB Luffy loses to every Top deck
If you play it more so removal it competes with shanks, robin, bonney, lucci, etc. I've really only struggled with Teach and Doffy.

I just wanted to show an average. I can show a per-matchup 1st/2nd winrate to illustrate that nuance in future videos!
I went 6-4 yesterday at a tournament using Belo Betty, my losses were to three doflamingos and one Enel. So those matchup numbers make sense

It's your 50 vs the 1300 on the ranked sim lol. And even then, it's not like 47.39% is that bad of a matchup anyway.

Playing PLuffy, I've never lost to Doffy or BB, but I can't beat Shanks at all
Ranked sim data means nothing, sleeve them up and play irl, shanks just won’t our first actual tournament, no blackbeards in top 32

That speculative tier list was before the set released, so that's all I had to go off of.
