Wish I could have told a bit about the game, but I had to work. From what I remember, the voices were actual British theater actors (probably because they had little work during covid) and every character has very distinct dialects depending on their lore. The English voice acting is the selling point, because it is de facto the intended language, Chinese and Japanese are the after languages. Also, the whole game is voice acted. The gameplay, is pretty simple, but can get surprisingly deep, with magic and physical and different elements that are strong against each other.
Thanks for the info! It actually makes me really happy to know they got actual British actors to play the roles! The accents certainly felt incredibly authentic which makes a lot of sense! And with a theatre background too that's a lot of talent to tap into! I think the reason why it was so funny to me that English was the selling point was just because it's not something you usually see, especially in an online environment where people still try to put down EN VA work. I do really like that they went with English as default though. It works really well with the settings and themes and with it being voice acted all the way through is great! Definitely looking forward to playing it! It does kinda remind me of ruina to an extent with the turnbased card themed combat (even if it's only visually similar) and I've been liking that gameplay so this looks really fun!
It really is and I really need to continue my play through of it! XD I've been following ZZZ for a little while now. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get into the test they did a while bad.
@@johanstenfelt1206 I watched one trailer which is what prompted me to try and get into the beta. But I haven't watched any since. Thinking of doing a react stream similar to this one closer to release
