I struggle to engage my lower body in the downswing when hitting driver which forces me to get very handsy 🤔 I've always struggled to hit driver since I started a few years ago would love some help
I struggle with pulling iron shots, I’ve been focusing on shallowing out my swing but I’m starting to think my grip is to strong, but now when I weaken my grip I am not hitting ball first, everything has been chunky.
It's always good when you get to see progress as it's a lot more relatable. Looking forward to getting my handicap down to single figures this year with your help.
love this video guys. great to see and understand the step by step instruction. I am a golf rookie and often feel like Mr Tickle with my swing! this will really help, thank you.
Hey guys, your videos have been such a massive help for me. My biggest issue is still feel when alternating between driver/long irons and then having to adjust to the short irons. I seem to either cramp myself or overstretch.
Thanks chaps. A really helpful few tips. I really struggle staying consistent with my stance and ball placement between clubs. I either hit it pure, chunk it or slice it. I wish I knew what I was changing so that I could fix it. Any help would be greatful. 👍🏻
Hi guys, thanks for the great content! I am quite a big and bulky guy. 1,97m, 115kg. Played a lot of rugby. It feels that my body can’t rotate and move as freely as smaller players and thus my swing becomes very armsy and wristy. What would be the best for me to become more consistent? Keep up the great work🏌️♂️
I'm very new to golf, started July of 22. I've finally figured out how to hit my driver straight most of the time and it goes between 180-210 for distance. Have you guys done a video on drills to increase driver distance? If I was going to buy a single training device. Any recommendations?
Exactly! Except mine takes flight, picks up a target 100 yards to the right, and then engages it's heat seeker that I had no idea it had. Drives me crazy!
My problem is topping. The golf ball. Switching from. Iron to iron. 7 to 4. Or 3. I get close to the. Green and screw up using. The pitching wedge... keep the videos coming. . Great info.
Been a fan for years, the K-bomb transformed my drive a few years ago and started to reach 280 years. But now I've developed an issue where my drives are low flying lasers (still straight) or mishits in the heel going low and left.
Thanks Lne! Make sure you check the grip and club face. If they are low then you are de lofting the club. This can be a strong grip or closed face. You may need to higher the tee too.
Flat on the way back (with the right hand even coming off the grip a bit) and so a slightly over the top downswing causing pull fade / straight pulls... What is the feel to steepen the backswing correctly?
Luka's swing is probably the most similar I've seen to my own, not so much with the hands getting to high/steep but with the back knee once fully extended in the back swing, not then bending again and produce early extension at the hips which definitely kills my swing!
I’m almost 3 years into golf and I’d say my handicap is close to 10-15. I hit my irons decent. I’ll hit my 7 iron 150-155 which is decent but I know I’m lacking in compressing the ball. I usually hit a straight shot or fade but I’d like to learn to hit a draw. When I do I feel like I’m making the same swing
Please record a video on full short irons or provide link if any … I am struggling with full short irons as I try to compress, it shanks .. so I have to play high loft shorts which is killing my distance. This issue is not there from 7 irons and above. 🙏🏻
I'm a beginner and had a lesson and few rounds. I'm happy with the distance but I'm struggling to stop the ball going off to the right. I've adjusted grip and the direction my face is pointing but with no joy.
Pull hook with almost every club. My club head/path data says I’m swing in to out but face to path is pretty closed. Also struggling with shifting forces to the lead side
I always hear about clearing the hips and making space but I can't get the right feeling. If I do get a feel then the ball strike is 50/50 on whether it's decent or not.
My issue is on the downswing and follow-through - the weight in my lead foot is in the balls of my feet instead of in the mid-foot and heel, which creates imbalances and inconsistencies in my shots. I've tried the lifting toes method but - I think - it's counterintuitive as it doesn't allow the weight to naturally transfer to the balls of my lead foot during the backswing.
I would check the posture at the start lee. Also where the weight goes in the back swing. When we get this off balance in the swing it is usually down to the pivot motion being off.
My iron distance is not what it should be for my swing speed. 4 iron 180, 6 iron only going 160 and pitching wedge like 110. Could this be the extra stiff shafts that I bought without knowing I needed stiff or regular?
This won't really make a difference. This is usually due to the loft you are creating at impact. High loft = less speed. You may be losing the club face in the back swing which causes you to early release in the down swing.
Flaring the lead foot a little may help Ned. I wouldn't focus too much on this though. It's very hard to change. Focus on getting g the club back to a good impact.
With my current irons swing I suffer from a large negative number on face to path frequently. This seems to be worse with wedges and low irons. Pulls and pull hooks are the result. I am practicing indoors with a trackman and that has given me access to these numbers. My problem is now what do I do to remedy this?
Ok please help my irons are horrendous. I hit them all about the same distance I'm not taking a divot but feel my club hit ball then bounces off ground. The ball goes pretty straight but hitting 4 through 7 150 yards then 8 through pw about 100. Not sure what I am doing wrong. If you have any tips or videos on what would be causing this can you please let me know
So many of this student's problems are my problems especially the swing plane. I comprehend the swing feel and I can do it when I'm standing up straight but over the ball I cannot do it.
I find the transition from golf mat at the range to grass on the course an issue, I seem to be better on the mat, this seems obvious given that a fairway isn't nice and flat. Shanks and thin shots much more common. Any tips to help with this would be welcome Great video as ever, thanks both

way to mess up your brand new Stealth 2 headcover...... :D Great lesson guys! Just a quick follow up on this, should the same swing plane (shoulder level on the backswing) be used for Driver as well or is there an adjustment that should be done there?
I got almost the same problem with him, but my problem is I hit straight but it went too high and i lost distance. My 7 iron can only travel less than 150m.
Low point control is so key but I don't think enough people pay attention to it - is it a skill or a technique? So much can influence the low point, from knee bend, back angle, wrist release, etc. Is it something you can actually train yourself to get better at?
100% Tim. You can definitely train this to be better. The key first is to understand what is stopping you from getting that low point past the ball. Often the back swing is causing this for most golfers.
@@meandmygolf. For me I think it's 90% wrist angles, and release. Not something that is ever clearly taught in my opinion (or from the pros I've seen).

@@stewartclark6436 Your head is not coming up too soon. Please don't try and keep your head down longer. From our experience this doesn't work. Any rules of thumb for ball positioning for irons? Is there a single approach to set up and then adjust for iron length from there?
Anywhere for centre to just ahead with irons Jacob depending on strike and start direction.

Focus on that club face Jason. That should be the key to things.

Clearing there hips can be hard. So many things need to be in place to rotate well. Plus range of motion is very important also.

Yes the combination of the arm plane and head cover created the change Juan.
