40 K ?This is a crazy world
Not super excited about that air conditioner setup. Especially considering it's $40k.
40 grand, no, 20 grand yes.
40k.. but it does look like it will last a whole lifetime and outlast several others at half the price.
I own one and it is by far the best built one out there, it will definitely last a lifetime, 40K is alot but it's purpose built for overlanding and can handle being off road without issues and it's not going to start leaking or fall apart from a life of off road use. It's worth the money!
I would love to see the kids bunks. With two littles, thats a deal maker for me over the off grid expedition 2.0
Is that ac system really the only option? I am just seeing it being stolen since it isn’t attached to anything.
You'd have to detach it and lock it in either the camper or tow vehicle when your not at camp
40 grand and the spear tire is an option stop right there....
$40,000 for a TEARDROP TRAILER!!!! HOLY MOLY!!!! NOT A CHANCE!!
We call this inflation.
Love me some PJ!! Automatic thumbs up!!!
Nice rig. But when she said cost is 40k, I clicked off. I do appreciate her mentioning the price at the beginning of the video.
Sorry just to high of a cost to me
It is pretty depressing what's out there in North America when you want an off-road trailer that fits in a residential garage. The way I see it, looking now for over 12 months, the best I could do is to purchase TAG XL and adapt it for off road use.. It would still come out better and cheaper. Nobody but nobody comes close to the way TAG XL looks inside. The interior design of all those off-road trailers is just depressing. I would hate to sleep in Mission Overland Summit with a window in my face like in a bus or airplane.. Besides that, that trailer has no rear hitch receiver and no dedicated compartment for porta potti. They ask for 40k and you still have to modify it!!!
This is night and day from a TAG. A TAG is made to look pretty and for people who don't overland. The owners of Summit trailers on the overlanding forums are using them for weeks at a time out and about. They aren't rocking generators and have a microwave in the rear. A tag has an 8 gallon water tank and no electric cooler? How am I going to keep things cold when I'm in the desert for two weeks? Can I stand up in a TAG? Nope! Is it rated to be used up north in the winter? Nope! TAG is made pretty inside to take pictures for Instagram. A Summit is made to take out for weeks on end off grid, not to the local park for the weekend.
I am with the guy with the t@g because I have one also, it has everything for a lower price which a year ago seemed expensive. The modifications needed still keep it way below that 40k, if I need to stand up I go outside !
No countertop (worktop), and the top of the fridge is at armpit level. My wife would need to get something to stand on to get anything out of that fridge. Honestly, don't you try these things out before you put them on sale?
This us a cute camper trailer. It is different than most. It’s cute I it’s own certain way. Thank you Pj for showing this one.
Looks durable, thanks for showing this off. Great tour as always.
I like this one. Thanks PJ
Is it 80" tall including the awning and roof rack?
40 thousand is outrageous.
That is a pricey trailer. It is nice and looks off road capable.
Why is there no review or demo available anywhere on how to set up the awning lol
Cool but horrible price
i really like this rv teardrop pop up ,.
i have one question can you adjust the door to open higher
You cannot.
Bad ass!!!!
40 K .... ????
The green one looks amazing. 👍👍
Let's be real that whole thing can be built/had for 5-6,000 these trailer dealers are out of their mind.
This I love. It is even in my color. That would look great behind the RumRunner!
A self storage unit I was looking is 7 1/2 by 15 I looked up this trailer it said it was 15 but on the front part looks' like it would un bolt 205 to 220 on this video but not sure could be bolted and welded
For a minute there I thought it was the Off Grid Trailer Expedition 2.0 very similar outside design and construction
Yes, just came from some OGT videos. Very similar.
@@DerekCollinsProject which do you think did it better?
The owner of Mission also started Off Grid from my understanding. Lot’s of parallels
@@rivas541 I had a OGT ordered but canceled when I found Mission Overland, so glad I did! Love it!!
@@rivas541 Just went to the Overland Expo East. Went purposely to see Off Grid. Thought it looked cheaply made and was very disappointed when I saw it in person. Wasn’t impressed. Mission was there and you can not compare the two as far as quality. Mission had great sales people there to explain everything and answer our questions. Off grid never approached us and they weren’t busy at the time. Mission told us the owner used to be the owner of off grid so hence the similarity. For the same price I would go Mission all the way. Just my opinion.
Nice rig. Thank u 4 the tour .
i watched 100 overland videos and this is the first one with a senior giving me the tour
me gusta asi cuadradita, pero con cocina y baño dentro- saludos desde uruguay
Would like to see how you close the door once inside.
Love your videos but you lost me at 40 grand. Ridiculous.
Seems pricey. Here in Canada that would be $50 K CAD....You can get real.nice RVs for that 💰🤑money.
As with everything, there's a new 'normal'. They RV industry is now on steroids. Demand is through the roof. Parts are hard to get. Manufacturers are backed up. Dealerships nationwide are low on inventory. If you do end up buying an RV, get in line with the fortunate few.
@@nrob450 oh I totally understand.
Like it but nothing to block the wind on the stove
How cold can that ac unit drop the temperature?
Thats the best entrance! No stoopingto get In
nice looking trailer i allways did like these overland- off road trailers
Check out all the different wraps on their website! Very cool options on colors and styles!
40K LMAO
Love my MO Summit!! We looked at tons of overlanding trailers and this one is the best!!
Do yall have the AC? Temps on inside with it and the heater? Very interested in this trailer.
What's with the flickering lights on the switch panel? It would drive me bonkers, especially since it reflects off the white panel
The flicker is caused by the frame rate and shutter speed settings on the camera the video was recorded on. All LED lights “flicker” on and off, but at a rate too fast for the human eye to perceive. Since the camera captures videos as a sequence of still images, like a flip book, some of those frames will capture the LED on, and others when it’s off. The effect is a strobing that is often seen in digital videos, but not when you’re viewing the light or display in-person. Great question! Thanks for asking!
@@PrincessCraft thanks for following up. Looks like a great rugged trailer!
