I strongly recommend that you start a channel on Bilibili which is a Chinese video sharing website just like youtube. You will have unlimited chances to be interacting with the viewers as well as being helped by many native speakers who are more than happy to correct you. With your content quality, I'd say 50k subs in the first week if they put you on their home page banner, or even sooner. Then you will probably get sponsors coming up to you asking for collaboration.

Would I still be able to use it if I’m not at a fluent level? Seems fairly intimidating to go into a fully Chinese site!!

@@bianca.phdinprogress You don't need to be fluent. You can use subtitles. The process of making the subtitles is also a way of learning

Beautiful, that was really motivating and sincere. I will try to think of more relatable examples when I am studying as you did with the Marathon and runners example.
    Go Bianca !!

Thank youu!! I’ve definitely felt the pressure to keep going when I don’t have the capacity to, but it’s important to have balance with things. Keeps you motivated while maintaining the joy of learning :)

I'm really glad you are still making videos. I burnt out and haven't touched Mandarin for a couple months. Time to get back to it!

been feeling more burnt out too recently, but let's just do what we can and be okay with that! any effort will lead to progress, no matter if it's more or less than the expectations we have for ourselves!

Can you show us how you learned Chinese characters? Like did you start with learning the radicals? I have no clue where to start😩

Great video Bianca! Rest is good! Also I like the marathon runner analogy, since I'm also a marathon runner :-)
