Saucy_boi Even though my first MonHun Game is World, I'm excited that you can get to ride a Monster that would normally be killed and carved for raw meat, hell I'm gonna ride a Popo into my first hunt against a Tigrex when Iceborne Day arrives!
The thing I love with Iceborne is how Capcom were inspired from PC mods and actually brought them into the main game. Like the light pillars and gathering hub having the important npcs there.
For me, my disappointment in Brachy’s weapons is sort of lessened by the fact that every class that didn’t get a unique Brachy weapon already has a pretty boss looking Bazel weapon. Except for switch axe, which I think got screwed across the board in terms of design, but at least they have Teostra’s Castle.
I alwais trust Capcom when it comes to this series. World didnt had a G rank. Seriously, I remember games like 3 portable or Generations where I also didnt needed to maximize by builds because they were easier monsters compared to G rank entrys. That was never an issue for me for world because of that reason. Because I knew the difficulty was going to increase with the G version. Where I gave World all the credit was in the fact that the end game tempered monsters made me focus more on my builds to achieve better hunt times. And some event monsters were a nightmare. Some of them very, veeeeery hard do farm with randoms. And that was something that older (no G rank / Ultimate) monster hunters didnt had. I welcomed that challenge for a none G rank Entry. This has been World's biggest problem. Many fans, maybe the ones that started playing them with the 3Ds versions, compare it with G rank Ultimate versions. And that is unfair for World.
Love your video's man. I started last year with World and then discovered the wonders of MHGU which grabbed me a lot more than I thought it would giving that its obviously missing a lot of the QoL improvements of World. Just got started into Iceborne and loving it so far, but when I dont have time for Iceborne then its MHGU all the way for convenience. Being able to pause a hunt on Switch is the best thing when you have a small kid ready to disrupt your hunt at a minutes notice .
i like to imagine that the ending of this video alone was the reason we got wroggi in rise, like one of the devs saw this video and was like "fuck it, put em in"
you summed up this fanbase in the last couple of seconds really well, but you can replace those monsters with the unstoppable nagging about weapon designs

@@3sikesimdead946 what do you think it means? its either something that looks remarkably like a gobul antennae, or its just a cute random armour you can give your palicoe, i mean hell the Wyvern Ignition was in World but we didnt get Valstrax :P and underwater combat certainly aint gonna be a thing in Iceborne, so i wouldnt get your hopes up, while Gobul was a silly fun monster to fight, i doubt he will arrive in Iceborne, and if he did, he wouldnt be high tier, he would be at low/mid tier with Banbaro and the like.
Surprisingly, the handler doesn't get into trouble in iceborne. It's mostly both you and the handler getting into trouble, not just the handler causing it first
The clan of Portable MonHun has lost a real one. 😔🙏🙏 But forreal I'm definitely gonna enjoy the mess out of iceborne but with my 3 jobs it's gonna be hard... I can't wait to be back into GenU.

See augmentation, it allows a bit more customisation on the bone iron swords which may make em look better, and even one weapon can look unique between hunters, I haven't seen it all myself but if the upgrades on the iron n bone looking swords make the weapon look cool, then it'll mean different hunters can use the same weapon with different looks, which I'm okay with But as I said, that's only if the appearance changes look good, there are multiple tiers and I've only seen the first, but has potential
The weapon designs are still horrendous, like the ore hammer path there is litterally no change in appearance and just with the weapons in general like GS almost every weapon having that bland hilt or similar design. It's honestly quite disappointing even with the armors the alpha and beta versions are almost excalty the same aside from certain sets unlike in previous entry's where gunner gear would always be very different and most times a lot more slim
Do you think it’s possible for Valstrax to be in this game? I don’t feel like there’s any play space for how fast he moves. I never played the old games but watching valstrax and seeing how he looks is...Wow. Would love it.

What’s funny is I thought they would either kill or severely wound the handler. At those moments when the music stops in the cutscenes and she’s just so relieved. I was expecting a monster to just run her over lmfao.
I do really wish theyd bring back the jaggi like monsters though and gigginox I wish too same with gobul he's one of my favorites. 3U honestly is my favorite MH I loved the underwater and monster roster was honestly the best with monsters like barroth, dire miralis, gobul, alatreon, brachy, lagi, lucent nargi etc.

you say that hunts are longer but please herny, i'm begging you, tell me that even in the end game, with full dps builds, monsters don't go down in 1 minute, i need to know they didn't fuck up T^T
The biggest thing I was hoping for with Iceborne was that all the weapons in each class ACTUALLY looked unique. Not metal/bone with a bit of skin or scales added at the base. Velkhana's weapons look beautiful
