Watching these just make me so excited for competition season... Also its just so sad for me to realize that competitions for us don't start until January... :(

Watching this while panicking waiting for the roster for high school update 2 years later: so I didn't get in when I made this comment (the only freshman to get in were already in show choir) and I didn't audition last year because it was virtual, but THIS year I auditioned again and I FINALLY got in after 5 years and 4 auditions, so I'm going to be in show choir for my upperclassmen years of highschool! Update: so its been a year and I made VARSITY for my senior year!
This is a great video! Do you think you can do more compilation videos? For example, best male soloist, best female soloist, best ballads, best openers, ect.
I'm working on putting together subsequent videos such as another best dance breaks video, and a unisex best dance breaks video. As of right now I don't have plans to make other compilation videos, but we'll see what the future brings!

Erica Yanek Usually showchoirs have 40-60 . For instance my show choir (tiger mystique) has 45 and that's considered a small choir. Our mixed group (tiger rhythm) has 50 and that's about average. This next coming season both groups have 60 though

Show Choir you should try doing Jr. High show choirs to because I couldn't help but notice that this was all high school groups. Mt. Zion sound check and sound system are two amazing Jr. High groups you could try.
Why no Franklin Central 2016-2017? Not only was their show visually appealing as far as choreo and fluidity, their voices are also incredibly mature and strong (much stronger and more mature than most of the choirs on this list). I'm from one of their group 1 concert choirs so I'm a little biased lol but seriously FC Singers and High Voltage have always been amazing and have been grand champion of at least one competition every season.
John Burroughs 2009 “Pretender” got them on Dancing with the Stars and a a recording contract with Oprah. And also started basically started Glee...and I wasn’t even apart of that choir.
Cosby "Spotlight", Thomas Dale "Nightscene" and more Twinsburg "Great Expectations" 2018 All those shows were amazingly designed and executed. But overall great video.
I'm shocked that Hastings, Millard West, and Waukee weren't represented!! But great vid anyway and you should do more like vocal moments and best ballad and stuff!
Honestly my showchoir is nothing in comparison... we're super small and never win anything. We have like 36... We compete against Los Alamitos, Burbank, Hart, and Burroughs every year.... we try so hard and are always beat
always keep trying! we were a 1A school competing against 4A schools in iowa back when i was in high school in 04-08. we generally made it to the night show and placed decently. never won but we always knocked out a lot of big 4A schools that had 3 times as many people and had nearly professional stage props and setups
Don’t stop trying! My choir went from nothing to being one of the top small mixed in our state. We even beat top tier groups with 56 s&ds compared to our 34. It’s all a matter of talent and show design.
So before if I watched this I was salty and would've cried because I never got into show choir after auditioning twice Never made it in But I just had my audition for the high school and I'm really nervous because at this moment their deciding who gets in and who doesnt and in about a week I'll find out and I might have a chance and now it gives me yearning
