    • @A---ti3zz
      @A---ti3zz 7 місяців тому +7

@@KayDejaVu Those surgeries greatly reduce the risk of cancer for women with BRCA mutations and there are a lot of women that had those same surgeries who were saved because they did those surgeries. @A---ti3zz Bullcrap. Removing body parts because of a "genetic mutation" doesn't solve the issue. What if those same women got cancer of the brain, blood, etc? Then what?
Just because you remove ovaries, breasts, and whatever else doesn't mean you can't get cancer in other ways. We are not meant to remove body parts. We need every part of our bodies because they each have a function and work together in harmony. If we didn't, we would not have them.

Cancer is a systemic problem. Tumor is just one symptom. You have to change the body condition. You can eat a healthy diet and still get inflammation and oxidative stress if you are not digesting properly, still eating foods with pesticides, living in a toxic environment and still getting exposed to toxins. Because we are getting exposed to so much toxins, you have to ensure that your liver, kidney, and lymphatic are working properly. Detoxing via your diet, binders, exercising, sweating, sun exposure, sauna and eating a variety of veggies, fruits and healthy proteins, including foods with lots of phytonutrients will help keeps the toxins load down. Most doctors don’t know what causes cancers so following their advice is not going to prevent cancer.

And last Tuesday I went through a Lap total hysterectomy. Cancer stage 1. It’s endometrial cancer. Im still in disbelief but my brother had thyroid cancer. He’s a survivor. He had two different types of cancer at the same time. We loss grandpa, uncles and aunts to cancer. So there’s a predisposition of cancer. Hoping my pathology results are better than expected. (This is a long one, but one person I comment about, is a man who was treated for breast cancer, and the other, a child diagnosed, at the age of eight, with ovarian cancer. Her mother had it while carrying her).
If you’ll look at diagrams of human anatomy, you’ll find that all of our organs are squished together. Some residual ovarian tissue was probably present on adjacent areas. I’m sure they did routine biopsies on the breasts, ovaries, and tubes, after their 2017 and 2018 prophylactic removals. No cancer was present, in what was removed, and there was no way for the surgeon to have known there was residual tissue.
BRCA positive (1&2) ovarian, breast, (and even pancreatic cancers), are particularly sneaky, and VERY strong! I’ve know several people who’ve had BRCA-1, including my male cousin, who had to have a double mastectomy, and radiation. Another thing men might not be aware of is the BRCA 2 gene. It can cause all of the above (except ovarian cancer in a male), plus, it has the potential to cause aggressive prostate cancer!
I also knew a 13 year old child, who died from ovarian cancer! She was my daughter’s friend 😢 Her mother had it, during her pregnancy, and we believe she was born with the cells.
Her momma died, when she was very young, and her mom’s mom was raising her.
Her symptoms first showed up at age 8 (EIGHT!!!), but it was in an earlier stage. With her family history, they proceeded to do a full hysterectomy, and chemo, to achieve, what they hoped would cure and prevent its return!
At age 13, the cancer reappeared, and was metastatic. She only lived about 6 months. During that time, she took more chemo, and had to wear a mask everywhere, to keep other people from sharing their germs, with her, because her immune system was severely compromised. She would not even eat at a restaurant, because, let’s face it, there are nasty people in this world.
Despite the chemo and its side effects, she lived those last months to the fullest. Such a beautiful soul, she was 💞🥹

Two time cancer survivor with a cancer family history here! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Whether you have the BRCA gene or not, it's not the whole story when it comes to your cancer risk. It's possible to test positive and never develop cancer, or test negative and still face it, like I did twice. Early detection is super important, no matter your family history.
As someone who's battled breast cancer twice (HER2+), and lost my mom to the disease at 55, I've been through BRCA genetic testing, and thankfully, I'm not a carrier. We suspect my mom's exposure to chemicals during her hairstyling days in the 70s and 80s might have played a role, or it could be from other environmental factors or diet.
Everything we come into contact with exposes us to cancer risks, so regular check-ups, eating well, and staying active are key. If you're around chemicals, definitely take extra precautions like wearing proper masks, gloves, and suits. What we encounter today could affect us down the road. Stay safe and please get checked. If not for you, do it for those who need you.

I would bet that her cancer had already spread BEFORE the prophylactic surgery and the surgeon did not bother to look around her abdomen. Some just do the surgery scheduled. If they don’t look, they can’t see. Also, what are the effects of a therapeutic that is mrna based on people with a genetic disposition for certain cancers? It's known that unless these prophylactic surgeries are done before age 35, they don't do much good. She waited too late. Also most ovarian cancers have been growing for 6-8 years, before they are symptomatic. This was diagnosed with cancer 4 years after her prophylactic surgeries; her ovarian cancer had already been growing at the microscopic level for several years by the time of her surgery. Ovarian cancer can begin in the ovaries, or the fallopian tubes, or the peritoneum, which is the lining of the abdominal cavity. While she had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed, the entire peritoneum cannot be removed. That's obviously where her cancer started. I wish her well.

Wait, did she already have metastasized ovarian cancer before her ovaries were removed? I don't understand what happened.

It's impossible to remove ALL of the cells, so some cells were left behind.

I have stage 4 ovarian cancer and most likely her cells had metastasized before her surgery. Ovarian tumors can spread far and wide before a woman knows she has cancer. When I actually felt symptoms and was diagnosed, my cancer had already spread throughout my abdominal cavity and into my chest cavity.

Maybe she got the vax. There are many deaths now from sudden aggressive cancers all over the world. Young healthy people. If she's already predisposed especially. People find out they have it- many die with days.

No she didn’t have metastasis ovarian cancer she had them remove and also both breast but came back 😢 She tried to avoid cancer so sad but learned something important today. I thought if you have ovaries removed before cancer develop we are safe.

I wanna do the genetic testing... my family history is not really known. Both my grandparents on both sides died before I was even born. I have no idea if cancer runs in my family. I recently had a mammogram. My results were densed breast makes breast cancer harder to see. So I have to go in for more testing.. I am petrified.. not so much for me but for my daughter. I know it's hereditary. My biggest fear is I've passed it to her. My friend had her breast remove after her cancer diagnosis. I had no idea even if you get parts removed, you can still get it.. didn't her dr tell her that beforehand?

No matter what the doctor tells you. We all have a “check out” date. One day, you’ll notice how much your doctor has aged. He/she will retire and die just like the rest of us. Eat healthy and exercise !!!!

It's a good strategy in principle. But there are many people diagnosed with lung cancer who never smoked. We should take reasonable care of ourselves but luck plays a role in life.

Wow, that's messed up. That means that in addition to getting those surgeries, I would also be tracking the CA-125 blood test, as well as getting a scan like an MRI, just to catch something early. Even if insurance doesn't approve because you don't have a dignosis yet, pay for it yourself.

    • @millieconsultancy

Ease up on the MRI scan. Focus on urine and blood tests. And be aware of bodily changes.

It's decreasing estrogen that is preventative. Estrogen is the catalyst to breast and ovarian cancer for BRCA 1 & 2. That is why women have both surgeries. (Including myself.)

Yes even if you have BRCA gene mutation especially after RRSO risk reducing salpingo- oophorectomy and prophylactic mastectomy
She is still at risk. MDAnderson has ovarian cancer screening clinic for preventive care- Genetic mutation increase risk for ovarian cancer.
Follow up every year with tumor marker CA125 and exam. Peritoneal cancer, ovarian cancer and fallopian tube cancer risk is real.
    Praying for her 💙

When I read in the title"...despite preventative measures." I expected to hear about 'lifestyle and nutritional changes', to see if they would be 'debunked' by the medical community, as so often they are.
At the same time, as this woman had the unfortunate experience to discover, the 'preventative measures' she opted for did not offer the results she, nor her doctor, expected. 😢
