I love the no intro, it’s fast to the point. Rather than 3 minutes of repeating the same crap. Keep up being amazing dev. I loved this episode and this guest was very interesting to watch her chill vibes and calm voice
I love the way you format these videos, we don’t need to know who exactly these people are, their identity is their business, we’re here for their story and what they want to tell and reveal to us. We’re guests for their life tales here. I also love that you don’t do an intro, it’s really not necessary and just a style choice/trend. This raw formatting makes the video more real and authentic, less staged. Keep up the great work and stay genuine 💜

Love these guests. Real people with real stories.Your podcasts feel very genuine. I can see you going into Anthony Padilla's direction but within your own unique kind of topics. Very interesting stuff. Keep goingggg!
The only thing I'd warn anyone about regarding this is yes, it can make you feel great about yourself, however, when your self esteem has become dependent upon how others see you (i.e. men/ women in strip clubs paying you to dance in your B-day suit), that perceived 'self esteem' & sense of confidence can quickly collapse as you get older & you're not wanted in the same way you were before! Even the guest referred to how she begins to question herself and her attractiveness on nights she doesn't make as much money, automatically inferring that perhaps she wasn't good enough. Self esteem that is dependent upon your appearance &/or attractiveness is just an illusion of self esteem & the consequences of it when it's over can be detrimental for some. - Not a prude, at all (😆) but as both a therapist & someone who just hit their 40's (& who very much relied on my looks to get by for a long time)... one really needs to ensure their self esteem, confidence & sense of self worth is coming from within versus from others because it can be a very challenging, internal road to plow! Take Care & God Bless! ✌🏻🤍
I danced for 4yrs in my early 20s and you are totally right. The nights that I saw this or this dancer making how ever much more than me (even if I made a lot) it made me feel like I was less beautiful, less desired by men, not as good at my job as them. After 4yrs all I wanted was a job that I could look like crap, not tell tall tails all day and night and bring home livable money. It was great and fun. But after so long it’s emotionally taxing. Literally
I feel old as hell as a 32, soon to be 33 year old man! Women probably feel different regarding age than men because of looks beginning to fade as they get older, and obviously some women feel older than others depending on when their looks start to leave them depending on how they look after themselves, but yeah I feel old as well!

@@rachaelalvarez3532 absolutely they are nothing a like and it’s insulting to actual strippers acting like a “pole enthusiast” knows anything about anything (in regards to stripping) Jacq the stripper has spoke in this as well as plenty of other ladies in this industry

YESSS i get to excited for each episodes you're a amazing interviewer and person Dev once again thank your for creating this project and giving voice for people that usually don't have it and thanks for the guess for coming here and talking about their experiences💗
I’m a veteran dancer of 13 years, I appreciate her story but I wish you’d interview someone who has done it longer than 5 yrs as well. Both stories would be valid but showing someone’s experience as a longer dancer will show you a lot more insight guaranteed. One year in is still considered very new and you haven’t developed the skill set completely needed yet.
I loved this video and what you turned this podcast into - so interesting. I feel like this format is gonna keep evolving into something amazing for you. I'll be watching and supporting from Germany :)
When she said the vultures thing, I feel that. That’s a normal day at my job. My job is open to the public and we get a lot of foot traffic. My anxiety used to be through the roof.
I've watched your interviews and liked the atmosphere, especially since the dynamic was that you listened or gave general directions or nudges to softly guide the story along. With this one it was interesting but the questions were more specific, which narrows the conservation down. This was more like a q&a where you got answers to your questions, but less about her life from her perspective.
Some questions I would’ve liked you to ask is why’d she start doing it?, how does her boyfriend feel cause he went with her for the first time or how he plays into it?, what’s her “day” job? Things I think you missed.
This was a good episode , but I feel like she guest wasn’t being that transparent , especially when it comes to the cons , she was very short and brief honestly. But maybe she really does enjoy what she does even without money being a big driving factor. You asked all the right questions!! especially the ones about sobriety , I’ve seen so many dancers say it hard to be sober and worked in that environment
Loving the pod dev! Would you wanna explain more how you know these people and how you got them here! I'm just always a little confused about that part ❤
