L/S of a country house with a big car park at the front. A couple waking towards its doors. There are no signs on the house, but the voiceover tells that this is a country inn. L/S of the pub's interior as the couple come in. There are several people sitting and drinking. Camera tilts up to show the pub's ceiling. There are thousands of cards and paper money (most likely foreign) hanging from it. C/U shot of the couple looking at the ceiling.
M/S of two men, one is drinking 'yard of Ale', another looks at him with a smile. C/U shot of the man spilling more then he actually drinks - he looks terrible. His face is all red, his eyes are pumped out and his face and his clothes are wet. M/S of an elderly man smoking huge pipe. He is the pub's 'oldest inhabitant', 86 years old Mr Walter Fullick.
There are all sorts of things hanging from the pub's walls. Japanese traditional shoes, leopard's skin, several pipes, swords, knives, stuffed squirrel, guns, shotguns, 'crazy signposts', crash helmets, hats, sign reading "Deutsche Wehrmacht" next to the "Home Guard" sign, pictures - over three thousands items - claims the voiceover.
"Actually, one of the few serious aspects of the strange decor, is the wood carving done by the Pub's landlord, Mr Eric Sinclair." M/S of Mr Sinclair carving a plaque depicting the front of the pub. Sometimes he does the customers, informs the voiceover.
