In 1989, Channel 4 aired a slide promoting a BBC1 show as part of their LGBT programming season called 'Out On Tuesday'. This episode was to be discussed on the BBC's Open Air program the next day. Despite the unusual move, Channel 4's slides maintained their 80s style but started looking cleaner due to technological advancements.
