Not a very complete guide whatsoever. Sorry. It sucks. I appreciate the effort you did put in but it could have been a lot better. Won't be subscribing, donating, or visiting the channel. Informative game guides obviously aren't your thing and that's okay. Good try.
For those who are very confused as this guide is very incomplete. After you done the 2nd dungeon (soulfire bastion) you take Kolhelm pass waypoint for future access to champions gate then waypoint back to the risen lake (imperial era) and travel left to complete the imperial dreadnought quest and that sails you to the shining cove. From the shining cove, go right and take the alternate leveling path there will be a quest for idol slot and PP on your way to a portal. Take the portal to the third dungeon (temporal sanctum) completing it will then bring you to Majelka upper district where you can finish off any idol/PP quests and access factions. Hope this helps.
the door is closed for me, i can see the portal but its behind a door, did the dungeons and the quest and landed at the cove.. Edit: just run to the oracles abode, get the sapphire tablet quest and then go back to shining cove lol and run through the sanctum
@@VinnaWalker You didnt have to run to Oracles' abode for the tablet quest, you just had to click the tablet after killing the boss before the portal and it clears the quest automatically.
Oh I think I misread your comment, yes you have to get to the oracles abode that is still part of the imperial dreadnaught questline you have to complete it and some of the blue quests for your idol and PP on the way
I wish they just added a mechanism that checks if you have already a char that finished the campaign and for the new ones (Right at the start, level 1) they offer the player the chance to skip the campaign (receiving the passive points, the idols slots, but receiving no money / no items, going to level 50 or something) or going normally through the campaign. I have done this campaign so many times that is boring to keep repeating (and I do like the story, just to be clear).
Totally, good suggestion. At least the campaign up the point of getting max points/idols is WAY less than doing the 10 acts + labyrinths in POE, Way less. But still yeah. The only thing I liked about D3 was adventure mode. I'm not a fan of repeating story content.
After completing the campaign at each difficulty level, one of the NPCs in the Forgotten Gods expansion offers a special item which, when used on a new character, gives you all the skill points and attribute points gained during the campaign, unlocks all difficulty levels and gives access to the endgame from lvl 1.@@vincentFGC
Lots of guides do not mention the backtrack to Risen Lake after completing Soulfire Dungeon. I ended up completing the quests from Kolheim Pass and even beating Lagon until I noticed something was wrong. The online guide said I was supposed to skip Lagon and just said 'continue campaign until you reach Majelka in the Imperial Era. Which confused the hell out of me, because why mention the importance of Kolheim pass when the real route was backtracked to the entrance of Soulfire and beating the Admiral? I feel like all guides HAVE to mention this fact. Beat the admiral, NOT Lagon.
I just do the campaign since you are going to have to do all the idols and passive rewards anyway. Most people's tweek leveling gear is just as fast, if not faster than your endgame build where you start to tank + stack damage mods instead of speed.
So just to clarify, if you complete all 3 dungeons, you will have 15/15 passive points and all idol slots unlocked without having to do any side quests or campaign quests?
@@telzen8774 When he said you wont have to fight lagon and still get all attribute points and passives, made it sound like if you complete all 3 dungeons, you will have those things even without fighting lagon, that's why I asked for clarification. 8:05
is there not a penalty for skipping acts ? i mean if i go straight to act from 5-9 wont i still have to do the quests later for rewards?,or are they tagged as complete
the total amount of rewards from all quests is more than you need. so it's fine. This is why you can see quests with those rewards (passives+ idols) while you have 15/15 and 8/8.
Thanks for doing the video, but the main thing I was confused about was whether this method gave you your passives and idols, or if you still needed to go do quests to acquire them after doing this, and you never clearly addressed that. I see a lot of other comments in here of other people who were confused about that after watching this as well. ...if we still need to run around and find and run the quests to acquire the passives/idols then I don't really understand why this method would be of any major benefit.
For anyone wondering 10 months later, the sheer amount of skipped content is the benefit. Way, way faster to endgame and doing some quests later is easy enough, especially since you probably did the whole campaign once before so you know what to do.
@@Derzull2468 If it works like that and u got someone to tp u to end of time, u can also get them to tp u to majasa and be done with it, u dont need this "skip".

How does one makes it to the temporal sanctum after skipping to Heoborea? you showed yourself already having completed the dungeon but inf your first playthrough that waypoint is not unlocked.
I've scanned around and nobody mentions this. I ended up going from 'The Risen Lake' (close to Soulfire Bastion) and making my way to the Dreadnought. It should spit you out on the beach near the rift that takes you to the Temporal Sanctum. I made it to Act 9 but don't have my full idol slots or passive points. Will complete the campaign from here to see if they unlock.

I hate the campaign, but i don't think I would do this skip. looks like I'd still have to run around between dungeons and find the quests that give the passives and idol slots. no to mention having to quest from dungeon to dungeon as well as leveling appropriately. I need to see this method in action.... Man, I wish they would just let you farm even just the first monolith once you've beaten the campaign once. just dole out the passives and idol slots at certain levels and scale the first monolith to your character up to whatever level it is currently. surprising how few ARPGs get this. even if the story is good (and its not as far as I'm concerned), people don't want to run the campaign on every alt, and if you want to try all the classes, that's going to be 15 times minimum once the rest get their 3rd spec. frustrating.
How to REAL SKIP campaign starts at lvl 25: once u get to choose ur specific class at lvl 25 u can go to first monolith and start killing, first mobs are easy u'll get better exp than campaign EDIT1 :( if u liked ur toon, then u can proceed with campaign passive and idol quests) then u can just back to do passive and idol quests only, and ignore the rest, do the main one real fast because u got gear from monolith, better gear, and fast lvl=passives, ignore all monsters and rush to quest objectives, u can check what quests give u passives or idol rewards by checking map, no need to go any external link and associate quest names and zones, just press, M see the quest reward, and do it or not. They didnt change or add anything to this yet right? After first character gets completed you should be able to do monoliths but for low level and each run/map complete can reward 1 of the rewards like 1 idol slot (an actual single slot not multiple) or 1 passive point so as you level up you slowly get passive bonuses and unlocks and just kill shit.
I don't quite understand the point of skipping you can get access to the ML early on and skipping doesn't give you quest completion so you still gotta do all the quest to get the idols and passives, am I missing something for skipping in this manner? is it just a way to get access to side quest faster in Heoborea?

Some questions related to skipping the story. Would love something on twink uniques worth hording. Also does adding LP mods to low level uniques increase the required level or does it just make really bad ass twink items?
I really wish they would rework the earlier bosses in the campaign. Thematically, they are bland. The models are void blobs and the animations are not really expressive. Mechanically, they are derivative. They reuse many of the same type of mechanics as they sit in the middle of an arena. I'm assuming they will be getting an art and mechanics pass before 1.0.
explanation incomplete and I already said that in an other video, but I'll say it again. those videos are longer than they should be. And it's very annoying for me, that's why I'm unsubscribing.
HOW THE FFFFF....... litterly 10mins before this video was posted i was googling this! did you see my google and rush the video! sneeky bugger! i almost never find keys in the campain in fact i am in empowered monos done campain 5 times? i think and i still only have 2 of 1 key 1 of another 4 of another and about 25 of another lol
Worst campaign ever. Even though story is not the main focus of arpgs, it's as important as any other if not more for immersion and connection. Paint drying is more entertaining than that chore of a story. Even the limited voice acting there is, sounds like their dying of boredom

I think he means mostly lots and lots of keys for 2nd characters, I'm level 100 and i have a whole bag of keys almost totally full. I could easily push a new alt using the keys etc.
Hi! update the wolcen minion build please! :D
have no keys :(
Excellent video and to the point, thank you! I've only recently just started this...only just beat Lagon...working on the extras! Once again, great video!
LMAO! The intro 🤣
explanation incomplete and I already said that in an other video, but I'll say it again. those videos are longer than they should be. And it's very annoying for me, that's why I'm unsubscribing.
i dont have ANY of the WP of ANY of the places -.-
useless video kinda
HAHA! So in your 'how to' video on skipping the campaign, you skip the most confusing part of how to skip the campaign..... Good job....
2 slow video...but lets do this...then i will say this....total waste of time....
i hope this gets fixed before people can sell leveling services
who cares wtf
