I have been using the Happy Planner for 2 years. Love the paper quality and the fact that you can customize it with different inserts. For this year I've been using the normal size one (I love the vertical layout)...I also purchased the mini...but haven't used it as much.
I don't have a physical planner but I downloaded the Planner Pro app on my iPad and it's working pretty well for my needs. The Happy Planner looks great. Might have to investigate them at Michael's.
Human nature to see something and try and do the same and make it work. I used Erin Condren for years but I don't live in the States and the cost of shipping/tariff was as much as the planner. Went to Happy Planner, like versitility, hate the rings. Went to bullet journal, lasted one month. I now use Travellers Notebook in wide and love it. I use inserts from AOR Journals on Etsy. They are beautiful and take mixed media, gluing pictures or photo's.She has preprinted ones as well. My to go has schooling, lists, shopping, gift guild, appointments. No more lugging binders or books. That said I cannot get into pocket size. I was a planner for over 34 years and eight kids on a farm. My whole life is in them. Enjoy the process.
I use a Moleskine dot grid notebook for my bullet journal and the Happy Planner Teacher Planner for homeschool lesson planning. Beyond that, I struggle to keep up with anything right now (thank you pregnancy brain!). I've struggled to find another of the Happy Planner lesson planners so I took advantage of an Erin Condren sale on their Teacher Planner... More $$$ than I wanted to spend, but the format works beautifully for my brain and lessons. I've tried the regular Happy Planner and struggled with keeping up with it. I think that paper planning will always be a fluid thing for me (#noplannerpeace). Thanks for sharing, Nili!
Yes, I imagine planning is just like everything else in life... Never perfect and always evolving as life evolves. :) I've heard the Erin Condren planners are amazing. I'll have to check them out before I decide on what to do for 2018!
Nili, could you use the Happy planner pages in your Filofax? They're smaller but if the rings line up? Just an idea. The planner is so cute you may not want to break it up. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

No, the ring system is different from the filofax. I wish they were interchangeable! :)
Cute 😍
