Really nice rendition of this wonderful composition, these virtual instruments are really shining but your programming is first class. Many Blessings, Max
First time I listened to this, I was thinking that I was listening to the real musicians, and I was waiting for the MIDI + SWAM instruments to begin their own section - ie an A vs B comparison. Only at the end, reading comments, did I realize it was all MIDI + SWAM. Mind-blowing! I played trumpet and French horn as a kid, and your programming of the piccolo trumpet was superb.
@@luigizaccheo I am leaning towards getting the full bundle. My projects and production methods are similar to yours, though I hope to master real-time performance via keyboard + expressive controllers (breath, etc)

I also teach at school and the children are very interested in learning more about SWAM. Can I buy this project of yours?
Wonderful work! Long ago (in the 1980's) I used many synthesizers to approximate a full symphonic sound. These modeled instruments take things to an entirely new level! Such precision and delicacy! And excellent choice, emulating Ms. Balsom. Can you tell me if all these instruments were playing together in real time (without bouncing), and how many 'instruments' can play 'tutti' with your computer? Many thanks!
many thanks for your comment Futur Foto. The instruments you see in the video were all playing in real time. I believe my current computer can handle 25-30 SWAM at the same time

Bravo! Very impressive. Everytime I put two SWAM instruments together they come out sounding like they're underwater. What reverb are you using? Any other mixing/mastering effects?
Moreover you need to slightly detune the instruments, change "Instrument" (i.e. body impulse response) and slightly differentiate velocities, expression and note-on timing
Wonderful ! You didn't play even a single instrument. But one thing more surprise me is how did you make these players' performance to synchronize your music ? ???? !!!

Hi Wolfgang, thank for your feedback. I wrote everything in step mode on the Cubase sequencer. first I programmed the notes and then the expression parameters such as bow speed, bow pressure, vibrato intensity and speed etc. you can see an example on my video ua-cam.com/video/HECctiLOwDA/v-deo.html at time 0:44. goodbye
Luigi Zaccheo dear Luigi you made a fantastic work! How did you turn the Swam solo strings (which I have to) to a small orchestra? Paning each section? For example 1st violins 64 R/ 54 R/ 44 R/ 34/R ? And then adjusting the reverb too? Incredibile Luigi! Fantastico!
