    The Seymour Duncan "Hot Rod Set" is a JB in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck position, so they are the same thing, they are just bundled together as a set.

    That was crazy! I came on looking for a JB demo and found a killer solo. I have to fav this. Did you write it or is it from a song. I need to hear it more.

    The passive EMG HZs that came in this guitar originally are terrible. I would have done the same thing. The actual active EMGs have their place but I still prefer a good set of passive pickups.

    Hey you want to know if this Sh2 and Sh4 will give your ibanez a good clean sound? I have an Ibanez Rg370dx and i use this set, it's really great for clean sounds an distorcion too, and you can try to put a single coil like virtual vintage dimarzio in the middle.

    I have a question, does a les paul with jb, sounds grunge??, I mean would it sound the same as if it was on a fender???, or if I put a JB, I won't sound like kurt cobain, I mean I like it, but I don't know, I want my les paul to sound like a les paul, which are the best pickups for a les paul??, specially the bridge

      Anch'io sto prendendo in considerazione l'idea di fare qualche accorgimento e sostituzioni varie a tutto l'Hw.. La mia è una cinese del 2008, ma non è niente male (ho testato altre epi cinesi e il 99% di esse fanno schifo davvero).

      ciao, avevo una ltd ec1000 deluxe che montava il 59, andava bene ma x la les paul volevo qualcosa di più cattivo e "arrogante", quindi ho puntato il jb :)
      . il jazz invece l'ho trovato molto caldo come suono e me ne sono innamorato subito. sceglerei jb e jazz tutti i giorni :)

    • @ilcardinale77
      @ilcardinale77  9 років тому

      bè il jazz lo trovo mooolto più caldo e rotondo, cristallino :) non sbagli se prendi il jazz :)
