Music from the 2005 film Wu Ji (The Promise), music composed by Klaus Badelt and performed by the Chinese National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Li Xincao.
By the way, the version released in the UK was a truncated version of the film. I got mine from China, with full English subs. for a fraction of the UK DVD price, including postage, with nothing cut out. A beautiful fairytale about the power of love.
Hey thanks for sharing this info, this is really important to know! Because when I first watched it, I enjoyed it but felt frustrated that it was over-edited. A lot of films are like this... I'll definitely go for the proper version now. This music is unbelievably underrated!
My favourite Chinese movie of all time with an incredible soundtrack. The two complement each other so well.

Romantic Adagio and Scherzo.
nice music I love it
O final desta canção é lindo demais.
beautiful music ... beautiful movie ...✫✿ღ
Alguem sabe o nome da música que toca no final?
is there a 1080p or bluray version of this movie somewhere?
queria ouvir a música que toca na hora da fotografia
The film doesn't need saving, but the music is amazing. My all time favourite Chinese film, and not the truncated western version.
