Really good review. So jealous everyone in your area is so friendly.... here in the UK riding any form of scooter on the path or the road at any speed.... well let's just say I'm thankful that looks can't kill...
This was fantastic and much needed. I'm bummed bc I just emailed them to cancel my order and then few hours later I see your video and am feeling instant regret. This thing looks amazing!
I don't know, I'm On the Facebook group for Apollo City and on Reddit and there's a lot of quality control issues people are having. Customer service is taking days and weeks to resolve them. I don't wanna get the scooter until they improve those aspects.
@@richdaillest1 the only downside is that by the time you decide to buy it in the future, the current $200 discount might not be available anymore. that's why i decided to bite the bullet and just order it now
Very nice. Would be cool to see how far you could go in highest gear and also if you could do a ride during the night. Perhaps somewhere where there are no citylights so that we can see how well the light works in the dark. 🙂
Thank you for posting this. I noticed that you ran your range test in gear 2 and exceeded the top speed for it in stretches. Do you think you can post a top speed run in gear 3 for us?
Bro! That's awesome. Still waiting my in the mail. I'm gonna chrome wrap it with gold by the wheels arms. Anyways. Would you post a video on the top speed riding? It'll do me a great deal to know the range in top speed. Thanks
If I were capable of riding my Ghost at only 32kmh I think it's supposed to have the same range. But I only ever see half that because I'm always SENDING IT
I did test my Ghost before and I only get 47kms but thats including some night riding with all lights are on. If I remember correctly, it shutdown automatically at 44volts.
You are welcome, kakapagod din almost 2 hours ako nag ride but it was fun. I think the noise is just normal for the drum brakes. Its just different noise compare to disc brakes.
@@nj8940 thank you so much I really appreciate it. You will love the scooter for sure. Remember this scooter can go fast so always wear helmet and be safe.
Great vid! How's your charger? Mine stopped working after the first full charge. I contacted support and they said it's a known issue and they'll replace with a fast charger. Which they mention on the store page of the fast charger that frequently using fast charger will degrade the health of the battery. I asked if I can get the regular charger instead, no response yet.
Here's part of the initial email "To provide some clarity here, this issue is due to the country’s voltage limitations, which is causing some chargers to not function properly. Rest assured, this is not a safety hazard and it will not affect the battery of the scooter. The good news is we will be replacing all faulty City 2022 chargers with City 2022 Fast-chargers! All that we need from you at this time is to share with us a photo or video of your charger malfunctioning, we can then manually create an invoice for you for a fast charger, on us, with free shipping of course!" And here's what they say about the fast charger on the store site "Please use fast chargers sparingly as overuse can damage the long-term health of the battery." Kinda dumb to boast about replacing the regular charger with the fast charger if it will shorten the life of the battery... unless it's their plan?
3rd charge and no problem so far except its getting really hot when charging. If Apollo already know that there is issue with the charger, they should start sending updated charger to every City Pro owner. Since my charger is getting really hot while charging, chances that it will also quit anytime soon.

Trying to decide between 2022 City Pro and the 2022 Ghost hydraulic. I am leaning towards ghost as I am about 230 and would like the extra power for hills.. What do you think?
i've been hearing around that the battery/charger has been defective after only one or two charges for the city pro. can you tell us how your experience with the charger has been so far?
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos but doesn't it also say on their website that the fast charger should only be used on occasion? since regular use of it will result in damaging the scooter's battery, according to Apollo.
@@Jack-bz7zr It does, I just don't wanna stuck with Scooter without charger. Actually I started looking from Amazon for aftermarket one since it takes a day or two for Apollo to response to email. They should automatically send updated charger to all City Pro owners.
Good question! One of my buddy has Emove cruiser, he paid 1k and now he regret. I don't want to elaborate but City Pro is totally different scooter. I would buy the single motor City 2022 rather than Emove Cruiser or if you go with dual motor, you will be really happy.
I think so but if I have to spend 2k and money is not the question, I would buy phantom instead. But City Pro is best bang for a buck in my opinion, I am just not fan of drum brakes, yes they look clean but disc brake look nicer and more braking power but it has to be hydraulic no mechanical disc brake for me.
