Bitcoin Risk Analysis: Dynamic DCA

- It is time for a Bitcoin risk metric update! The risk levels of Bitcoin are something we have monitored for quite some time on this channel. Here we take a look at where we are to day, and speculate on the years to come. The general idea is to dynamic dollar cost average your BTC buys when the risk is low and dynamic DCA your BTC sells when the risk is high. The reason for this is simply identifying that we do not know where the Bitcoin top or bottom is and want to just systematically take profits. Love the content. If we use the Y formula, what would be a good starting point to calculate the X formula. Or would it just be a dollar amount based on our situation and comfortability? I guess a starting point using a percentage from what was sold (Y) would be most logical for me.
Given that TIME SPENT in risk zones (0.5-0.6, 0.6-0.7, 0.7-0.8, etc.) is inversely proportional to THE DISTANCE from 0.5 (with time spent in the most extreme risk zones being relatively brief), are you adjusting DCA transaction frequency or restarting DCA transaction cycle when a new risk zone is breached? Just curious if, and how, you address this issue.
Good point. Also, how do you account for duration spent in risk zones. E.g. lets say you are in the x risk zone, how much do you sell DCA on what basis, and once you reach x sold but you are still in the same risk zone what do you do? Stop buying and selling until it changes risk zones?
