My fuel pump was dead after 1100 kms. The service centre had it in stock, and that makes me think if this is a very common issue. Although the service centre says my bike is only the second such case. Let's hope it doesn't give the same issue again.
Personal Opinion: We've faced a lot of issues with the first iteration of RC390 and with time the company has identified and fixed almost everything. And now the latest iteration of RC390 literally runs without a single issue. Therefore, hoping that Aprilia would also identify and fix all the issues in future iterations of RS457 because it has so much potential and can be the undisputed segment leader (which it already is), with a few updates from the company the bike will be just next level.
I recently experienced a significant power drop on my bike as well after reaching around 1500 km. The issue became apparent when an R15 managed to keep up with me unless I shifted down to a lower gear. Additionally, the bike began to bog down around 8300 rpm and would suddenly shut off. It's now been at the service center for about 10 days, and they initially suspected an issue with the magnetic coil-a common problem, as I noticed several other bikes with similar issues parked at the center. The main service engineer confirmed that these bikes had coil issues as well. A few days ago, the service team also mentioned a possible issue with the rectifier. They're still working on diagnosing the root cause of the power drop, which is frustrating, especially given that the service center seems uncertain about the problem. They've had to reach out to the main team in Italy for further assistance, which has added to the delay.

Sorry bro. Just ping me once again.
Remove the fuel x and go for a top speed run. Search for the youtuber prakash suraj he has completed 12000 kms on the 457 and hasnt faced this issue
I had the fuel x for hardly 500 kms. And I've already hit 200 kmph previously. Yup I'm aware his bike is running fine. I'm talking about issue in my bike.😊
You're considered dumb if you install such after market stuff during warranty. You'll be unable to claim warranty when you have something already messing up the bike. Anyway people learn it the hard way and you have learnt a big lesson from this. 😹
I don't have any lessons to learn from this. I bought the bike like a project bike. I will do the mods. I'll face the consequences.
@@farhankhan_rr appreciate you for sharing your experience 👏🏻I'm pretty sure this video would've helped a lot of people who like to experiment new things.
