More fun. More fashion. More faux pas. As Emily finds her footing in Paris, the fallout from a night of passion could send her stumbling into trouble. - Розваги
Pierre Cadault is literally the best part of this show
literally
This season was marginally better than the first, which isn't saying much. At least they called Emily out on her more selfish actions, and gave more time for the POC characters to shine.
I absolutely loved this scene, the ballet dancers, the beat drop, everything!
As an art historian I loved this scene. Because Pierre styled himself after Louie the 14th king of France, aka in art history “The Sun God” (typical Leo ♌️ that he was lol) Louie turned Versailles from a Quaint hunting launch into the monumental palace that we know of it today. Which is why it was fitting to see him dressed in that style for the show. Now his rival, is dressed in the rococo era which is when Maria Antoinette and Louis the 16th were the end of the French monarchy at Versailles palace as well. I wonder what that will hint at in season three and how this will play into the plot and the fashion world in our story. As we have seen in this season Pierre has been having a difficulty reinventing himself to stay in the contemporary mainstream world of fashion. Also he cycles between tortured artist and bratty child I can only wonder what a handful he will be next season.
Dressing like Louis the XIVth was a way for Pierre Cadault to get his high place in the French fashion industry recognized and remind his "oponent" in a mysoginistic way that a queen is nothing without her king. Moreover, the fact that two legendary figures like the Sun King and Marie Antoinette, who lived at Versailles, the place of this fashion show, confront themselves makes this moment of the extract epic.
This scene was incredible. The outfits not really but the music and dancing, I was literally in awe! I would love to know what song that is?! Now I hear it in a commercial but not so blatantly. I think I watched this scene over and over. Loved it! All you haters don't have an artistic bone in your body. It was nice all the models were not rail thin.
the song is called “L’amour est un oiseau rebelle”
The most outstanding fashion series ever
I hope they use this group of dancers more often; they were great
i loved this scene omg, iwent back to this scene like 80 times
i love this part, the music makes me want to dance
I can’t wait to see what they do for season 3
Great scene
Обожаю эту сцену !!!!
loved it!
Bright pastels, fine and dandy, but why open with Marie Antoinette and Charles the Second? Or was Pierre supposed to be the Sun King? Still, pretty, at least without any context.
What is the name of the song?
I know the one they dance to is from the Opera Carmen, but I am here trying to find the glorious chorus Pierre enters with. Its driving my head in circles. 🤯
1:49 is the third on the bottom left supposed to be Karl Lagerfeld?
Yaaaaa!!!
Is that Addison Montgomery-Forbes???
so, basically, fancy spanks…. this is not a collection.
😂😂😂
What is the name of the song that plays on Pierre ?
This part made me cringe
Th3 3nd 1s neer.
Why is UA-cam recommending me this. I don’t even watch Emily in Paris
i thought this was nice
Love the sets & decor, music, dancing, guests costumes and the Marie Antoinette concept. The actual collection and models were disappointing though, not that great for me. But overall I still really enjoyed this scene; one of my faves from the show.
what song is this
Im confused. What product exactly here? Underwear?
Shapewear, it is mentioned earlier in the episode.
Love this show--but this was the only scene I fast forwarded through.
Why?
Me too. Fkn cringe shit fest
I loved it and went here to watch again.
What is song name ?
l'amour est un oiseau rebelle - the math club remix
Name of the song?!
This is the remix of one of the most famous airs of the French opera. It is "L' Amour est un oiseau rebelle" by George Bizet. It does not date back to the XVIIIth Century, but I understand why they took it for this show (apart from the aesthetical reason): it is THE French opera air known by almost everyone. It was written in the last decade of the XIXth Century. The opera is based on one of Prosper Mérimée's tales, "Carmen" (1847), about a Spanish woman (the title is eponymous) whose beauty is fatal to men, so she is one character who contributed to the development of the femme fatale. You can find the remix in the playlist soundtrack of the season 2 on UA-cam.
@@annedubouch1137 wow! Thank you for your very knowledgeable reply Anne! The details was really fascinating! Now I'll go look for the opera...
Song please?
The first part is carmen habanera but I don’t know the remix
the math club - l'amour est un oiseau rebelle (remix)

@@AlvaroJSanchezC THANK YOU! I've been trying to find this music.
Wtf
Is that Bob the Drag Queen?
not all black men in makeup are bob the drag queen. this person doesn’t look or sound even remotely like bob
@@jacquelineburkholder6958 STFU. I agree, not all BLACK men look like Bob the Drag Queen.... BUT that one does to me. Simmer down.
Also, out of many black drag queens in the world... I didn't know everyone only references Bob the Drag Queen as the go-to picture portrait look-a-like...
@@jacquelineburkholder6958 You look like Ludwig van Beethoven, but not every white girl looks remotely like Beethoven.
Why are people not liking this scene? hm maybe i already have the answer..
Sadly people in the comments don’t like it. It’s a cool scene
i don't like the "fashion" in this scene tbh.
@@arnavsaxena4278 you don’t have to like it lol. I’m glad your comment is respectful unlike the others.
how odd. to ask people to respect an utterly disrespectful scene. it is disrespectful to french culture, to fashion, and to the lgbtq community.
What is not this

Horrible
The promotion was for his shapewear collection.
Shit!
Awful af 🤢🤮
What terrible thing did you see?
@@VitalikSHedgehog the whole video.
horrible
Ew, No
HORRIBLE
I enjoy it, I boycotted NF because of the racism against our country and support of the infamous obsessive N*zi Idolator Ms Markle, but I am learning French and although it is a poor representation of French people and Culture it's light enough to enjoy. The framing of the architecture is sublime and I love the characters especially Luc, whose voice is so alike the voice of one of the characters in Duolingo there's a Reddit discussion page 😁 Overall Delightful sojourn, merci beaucoup, Netflix.
