Weaving in ends is the pits and it wouldn't have worked on the very holey shawl I'm crocheting. I watched a few videos before this one and couldn't grasp it, they just over complicated a very simple thing. Thanks for a brilliant instruction, the join is strong and I don't have to worry about the shawl unravelling in the future.
Thank you. I tried another tutorial on this, but she wasn't quite as clear in her demonstration. You showed me just how to do it, and, by George, I've done it!
Oh my!! You are great!! I really do not like weaving in ends and am using an alpaca/silk blend to knit a baby jacket and cannot rub the ends together with water because of the silk. Just did this method to join the ends and it works like a charm! Thank you very much.
I used this on a sweater and I found my ends unweaving themselves and sticking out of my work, so I had to clip them again. Have you had this happen to you? Suggestions? Thanks!
Thanks, great instruction. Will use it. Do you have a video of changing colors. I am doing a pattern that requires a primary color and change of additional colors every two rows in repeated sequences. I am not liking the look of the edges of the added yarn and weaving the tails.
Terrific! Much better than other RJ demos. Many thanks.
