I have three four season tents…..the north face ve-25, Ferrino snowbound 2 and the alps mountaineering Tasmanian 2. I like them all. The Ferrino is the heaviest of the three and most able to withstand extremely high winds etc. the ve-25 is close behind. However I use the Tasmanian 2 most often as it is lighter and more of my trips are in less severe weather……all three great tents for their intended uses….
I will have to disagree with the assessment of Alps tents they have held up in extreme winds and I have camped in below freezing temperatures and snow even in their non 4 season tents and they provide as much comfort as the tents priced 3-5 times as much. I have several that have seen monthly use for 5+ years with minimal care.
Don’t underestimate Alps Mountaineering. No they are not a proven Mt. Everest basecamp product like some others. They are tough and well built. I have a 4 person Taurus that I modified to use with a wood burning stove. The stitches are good, straps and buckets are tough and the poles are strong. It dies well I’m winter. Fir many people doing some backcountry snow shoeing or skiing, it will work on a budget. I’m sure it can handle some wind and snow, maybe not the highest of expedition standards, but better than any random Amazon 4 season knockoffs or three season tents 😊❤️🇺🇸❄️☃️⛺️🛷
Should state these are mountaineering tents as there are many good 4 season tents on the market that are just as good at a fraction of the price and designed for the average camper. Had a tent at a fraction of the cost that withstood hurricanes, snow and all sorts of weather and was perfect all year round (had been used all year in all weather conditions). Can't recall the make though think it may have been Coleman or Naturehike (as they are very similar in their modern styles) but know it wasn't more than £250. Good quality doesn't mean it must come with a big price tag.
@@GMiller75 fair enough I do agree that the price of most these tents isn't justified. I've been doing a lot of research and yeah it's crazy when you compare specs. People definitely need to do their homework before making unnecessary expensive perches.
Their is a lot of different repellent like scotch DIY.KIWI AND MANY OTHER THAT COULD INPROVE PERFORMANCE IN RAIN AND SNOW AS LONG AS THE TENT COULD HANDLE WINDY CONDITIONS.
My Hilleberg Tarra is all I need for car camping all year around. its expensive at first... Buy once, cry once. it warm ing the summer but I can use the liner by itself if i want.20 degrees warmer in the winter.
@@MustSeeTech I had it about four years now. Never did winter camping with it. But it’s too warm for Summer so I just use the outside. The interior and the shell makes this tent about 20 degrees warmer! I don’t worry about strong winds this tent can handle anything! Except a hurricane...maybe.
Must See Tech No not yet, I have not found a mild/temperate area it’s either ‘Really cold’ ( Northern Ontario ) or ‘Bone frozen ( northern Quebec ). I really like the double wall style tents; yet the setup/tear down all seem to be about 5-15 mins - with practice. Thanks for sharing so many captions details, pricing, and setup videos. I may stick to cabins for now until I locate a good site. Video Hint: “ Best tent camping in Canada: From light frost to bone frozen “ lol 😃
What I find funny.. Do you know how few people in society, let alone across the globe have ever stayed in a tent in freezing, or sub zero temps. I have and I own many 4 season tents. But, and it is a big but, I have nearly no one to talk about those experiences with and someone who can understand what it is like to be in a tent on the side of a mountain, let alone climbing that mountain. Society is weak and only getting weaker as each passing generation comes and goes. Even the guy speaking in this video has no clue about any of this.
These tents look great but I wonder how easy they are to set up when in a wind or rain storm high on a mountain? They look complex with many poles, stakes etc... And not to mention the plastic clips and attachments! Why plastic!! It breaks so easily!!
I am not sure. But I will definitely check the company out. If you are shopping for one , you should consider going over reviews online, there are a few on Amazon and you can probably find more on other sites.
@@MustSeeTech I had one, in fact two, and many of their stuff, I think their quality is second to none, price also LOL, but everything they sold is Life time warranty, you should try it and compare :)
I'm reminded of something that my mother said about my late Father. He grew up as the child of a farmer speaking mostly in his mother tongue until he went to university. There he had to pick up English and spoke with a heavy accent. My mother recalled how he spoke to a group of English speaking people and how his accent was a problem, but only until they started to appreciate the quality of the content of his presentation. Let there be hope for everyone who does not speak with a perfect English accent. And to whom it may be of value, I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ and God and His Holy Ghost be with you. I pray this in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
@@MustSeeTech Hey man, your narration and accent are great. I had no problems understanding a single thing you said, and I found the video very informative!
I spent $1400. I camp out of my truck with this tent !! I have a wood burning stove inside that I can do everything with. 4 foot of fresh snow, no problem for tent. Easy setup Davis wall tent ! Nothing better when pared with a F150 or horse. Otherwise not back packable. Lol
Are you planning to camp this winter? If you are, follow the links in the description to purchase the models that you liked the most.
How about Fjällräven Keb Dome tents? Comparable with Hilleberg in between their RL and BL range imho.
Hi. Will look into them

Will Husky extreme flame 1 good for south and north pole?
Dont forget a tarp it protects your tent from the weather the sun and extra shade. I almost love a good tarp more then a tent !
Hi, thanks for commenting. Can you suggest some?
@@MustSeeTech THE TARP IS USED FOR A GROUND CLOTH. YOUR THINKING ABOUT THE RAIN FLY
Hi, the term can be used either way.
Only described those tents all year round on sunny and snowy landscape but no rainy landscape ?
Hi, these are 4-season tents, which means they can take the rain
We gone need these here tents soon enough with 10's of millions Muricans evicted. Good video brother bless u

Hard to find Hilleberg tents.
Expensive but excellent quality!
I bought mine through moose jaw.
Cheapest tent listed is 250$, most are 500$ and up. For those don't want to waste time. This should be in the title!
Hi, do you have cheaper 4-season options to suggest?
Must See Tech Amazon got a 4 season tent for $80 bucks. Not sure if it lives up to the more expensive tents
Did you get to test it out yet? Please send me the model name and manufacturer. I'd like to check it out
Most know that a true expedition tent aren’t cheap. You shouldn’t start with this much tent. Check Walmart !
No link to Trango.
Hi. Unfortunately, it is not sold on Amazon
👍 This is great
