Moment of transparency, I found your YT short some months ago about breaking into tech and the warnings and insight you gave. I can't lie, I rolled my eyes because at the time I wanted to start UX I was one of the ones who was swayed at first by the "glamorous lifestyle" of tech that social media portrayed and I was like "aww Lord *rolls eyes* here she goes trying to discourage someone". At one point everything I searched on YT would bring your content up again. I kept ignoring it and the more research I did to see where I truly fit in the "tech world" I was getting CS. I would search on YT for CS content and your videos came up again...and I laughed because the same woman I rolled my eyes at months ago is now one of the most helpful resources! Thank you for caring and loving your craft enough to share so much helpful content!! I am headed over to the link now to purchase the sheet! You have been a tremendous help! THANK YOU for giving real, insightful, and sobering content that doesn't glamourize and overpromise or overcomplicate.
I just want to thank you for your videos! I watched all of them when I was applying as a Customer Success because I have no idea about the role. I was an online teacher and this video was just what I needed while I was struggling for an interview. Now I am hired and close to my first month. Again, thank you and more power to your vids! - mom
