The Cornfield is a new gamemode featured in Night Watch's All Hallow's Eye P2 update, accessed mid-shift featuring all new gameplay.
If I had to give my opinion on this, I think it was worth the delay. It's well balanced and quite fun once you understand it.
Because this is a special mode, you access it in a different way. To access this mode you must first go into Floor 1. Start the shift and run as fast as you can to the basement as there is a portal that takes you to The Cornfield, but it closes after 15-20 seconds.
To beat The Cornfield you must survive 10 minutes and find 5 candy corn within the field. The candy corn spawns randomly inside in the field, however you are not alone in the field. Within the maze there are 2 new entities following you. They wander around the field attempting to find you, when they do they will begin chasing you. In order to avoid death when they are chasing you, run as far as possible and take as many corners as possible.
